  1. Going all out

    16 June 2008 - 11:15 AM

Alright, I am comming into a a bunch of cash this summer, and want a stock class marker. I am looking at a Carter Buzzard, a Hounds Tooth (the one I am looking at most) a Pug, or a Sterling.

The advantages for me are as follows.
Hounds Tooth, Classic brass look. Proforms really well. Shredian. PPS.
Buzzard, top of the line Nelson, can make it look sweet. light.
    Pug, pistol.
    Sterling, just really cool.

Anyone has any ideasé advice. Yes I am going all out in my choice of pump markers. No you cannot see any cocker there, nore the pyre, becasue I dislike the cocker pumps.
  2. ANS pneumatics

    20 May 2008 - 07:20 PM

ANS rams, can they take dual QEVs or not.

My pneumatics set is going to be replaced with ANS pneumatics. Quite the upgrade from a set of system X pneumatics. Also a ANS phase 2 regulator, that I am pretty happy about getting. Sad part is that the original cocker I was going to buy (before it got stolen) was an ANS cocker minus the trigger frame. I am also getting an ANS delrin bolt with a venturi bolt and a none venturi. This along with the AIM body, a WGP trigger frame (would prefer a Dye or a KAPP frame, but that is not likely to happen) This thing is shaping up to be a pretty good cocker.

What are people's opinions. Nate, mike, mostly looking to you two, no offence to anyone else.
  3. Cutting a phantom

    20 May 2008 - 03:26 PM

I am making a bolt action nelson valved marker, and since the Phantom is the best marker I will be using it as the base. This of course after I finish the inital build with a Maverick. So my question, is it a bad thing/ evil thing to cut up a VSC phantom. I have all the plans done up, and it will look really nice after I finish it, but there will be a little bit of cutting involved on the body for the bolt to go.

I mean to not offend anyone with the poll, its sort of a joke and I wont take anything personally.
  4. Ion leak

    12 May 2008 - 12:40 PM

Ok, let me give you a little history about me. I hate electros and anything to do with SP. I have little experince with them, and intend to keep it that way. But I have a problem with that. The girlfriend has an Ion, and it is leaking. Big supprise.

So I think, this is a big think here, that is is the dwell that is messed up (stock board). Odds are I am wrong though. It is completely stock. Only the eyes have been replaced, and it is 2 years old. The bolt only comes half way forward, and then the solonoid chuffs, and then the bolt returns back to the neutreal position. I just want to know if a new board will fix it, or will we need to spend more money on the stupid thing. And if it is completely buggered I am turning it into a mechanical.

Sorry for comming off as a total wanker, but I just want this thing out of my house ASAP.
  5. ULE

    09 May 2008 - 01:03 PM

Ok, I have the nickel ULE ready and waiting on me to hit the complete order button.

My question, is it worth it. I know in my head it is, and I do want one, they look sexy, ANGEL FEED NECKS!, detents, cocker barrel, all the good stuff. Thing is though I don't have a good cocker barrel, and my wallet doesn't want it (I did get my tax return today though)

So someone give me a good boot to the rear and tell me to buy it.
