Posts I've Made
24 July 2010 - 10:10 PM-make sure you don't tilt your head when you shoot (I'm left eye dominate and right handed)
-eggys aren't bad hoppers
-skip the steely tank
-don't bother upgrading spyders
-wear good paintball pants with good knee padding
I've learned a lot over the past few years but, it's been fun and a learning experience for sure.
24 July 2010 - 10:01 PMI like to play Greg Hasting's game when I can't go to the field but, I wouldn't say it's a good simulator. It gives me the ability to dive (which I do not do well in reality) and cheating doesn't make you feel bad. It's fun for sure but, it doesn't make me better at paintball.
13 June 2010 - 07:15 AMSo all you did was trade in your "woodsball gear" for "speedball gear"? There's no reason you can't play either speedball or woodsball with camo or a bright colored jersey. I'm not trying to put you down but, you don't become good at both types of games by switching out your equipment.
The commonly stereotype spoken of by Woodsballers like us is the unfortunate norm for paintball players, whether it be Wrekreational, Speed, Hyper, Air or Scenario ball. Unless a Wrek/Sceario paintball distributor (like Special Ops) strikes media gold and gets an advertising monopoly on TV, we wont see a significant shift in the way players dress for YEARS to come...
Question: Why did you spell it "Wrekreational", is this a reference I'm not getting?
11 June 2010 - 12:49 PMI'm not a hater but, I'm working on a video in response. I've been wanting to do a snapshooting video for a while as I feel many of the videos out there are incomplete as to how the gun should be set up and such. I just recently got a decent camera and I shot the entire thing but, there's too much background noise (I live behind a busy road) so, it's going to be a few days until it's up.
29 March 2010 - 06:08 PMI'm going to have to agree with Drek on this one. All things being equal, a pump player is at a disadvantage against an equally good semi player. It's just basic logic for me. If Player A and Player B are equal in all skill sets (snap shooting, communication, moving, et cetera), but Player A has a pump and Player B has a semi, Player B has a clear advantage as far as fire power goes.
