  1. Daily Workout Routine???

    17 July 2009 - 01:00 PM

Hey all, I need some help

There's a good chance I might be going into the Airforce next summer with my cousin on the buddy system. I need to get a daily workout routine going. As far as weight training goes- not an issue. I don't need more muscle, I can already stand up 700 pound skidder tires. What I need to work on is my endurance running, and general fitness. I was thinking something along the lines of this combanation:

    Push-ups
    Daily run of 1 mile
    sit-ups
    ?????

As far as runtimes- I just ran a 7 minute mile and wasn't going all out. I don't know where I had it in me, I haven't run like that in 5 years, but I hope to make a habit of it. I just wan't to work my way up to long runs. Like 2-2.5 miles runs.

So, my question to you is this- what kind of dialy routine can you help my come up with?? What are some routines you use??

    Thanks
  2. Dodge dakota transmission??

    07 May 2009 - 05:31 AM

I think I am loosing the tranny in my dakota. I know the auto dodges have a rep for that, so I am not that bummed about it.( I'm actually quite happy it took the abuse as long as it did)

It has been shifting ruff as of late, and last night on the way home it was grinding prettty bad. When and if I replace it, I am going to make the conversion from auto to 5 spd, as I hate having an auto. NOw don't go tellling me how hard it is or how much work it is to hang a clutch pedal; I've been there, done that. It isn't easy, but worth it.

My question is, where can I find a cheap 5spd for my truck? I have looked a couple places online, and I am gonna call a local parts garage in a minute, but does anyone know of a place online I can get one cheap?? It is a 5.2L 4wd. 1998 model.

    Any help would be appreciated....Thanks!
