Posts I've Made
27 August 2008 - 05:46 PMI left the field as soon as I knew I was eliminated which was when the ref told me so. Sorry I didn't do a more careful check when a gaggle of refs where watching me
And that's seriously it tell that post is restored. Call me a cheater, pure evil, someone with poor sportsmanship, whatever. It's honestly nothing new out of here.
27 August 2008 - 05:36 PMaproaching your line saying "I want to negotiate, I'm paul bunyoun!" while wearing the others side tape is worthy of a hole punch? Or is it the fact I didn't notice a hit and niether did any of the 5+ refs there?
Viper said what I pulled was fine, he even gave the refs a talking to over how they acted in that situation because it was incorrect. Using refs to find out information on the field, espicially in the way they where used by blue in that situation, has been and always will be against the rules. Wayne Dollack got a kick out of the story.
As I said, you all coming along and going to not only the first two national promoters in the history of paintball (MXS may have been secound, I'm not sure) "your wrong, I'm making up my own rules, and that dudes a cheatah!" is incredible. Absolutly incredable. The fact the moderating staff has the audacity to not once, but twice now, to pull the stunt they did in this thread is nothing short of incredible.
This boards arogance has once again utterly amazed me. I wouldn't give a hoot if it where not for the fact a large number of new players frequent this board and that sort of stuff kills scenario. You want lowest common denomiator play instead of actual thinking go to a big game at EMR like castle conquest or western worrs or a scenario at Skirmish. Don't bother ever trying to play an actual scenario like Vipers, blackcat's, or Waynes, your honestly not wanted for anything other than the money you provide.
I'd say it's appalling but at this point, at this enviorment, I suppose it's to be expected. I look forward to the doomsday warrior scenario where I'm generaling against you all, it should be highly amussing.
With that said adios, unless of course my post is restored. I'm simply not putting up with these antics anymore. It's your guys board, decide how you really want it to be run. If I'm wrong then debate me, don't hit delete and have the audactiy to call me a cheater.
27 August 2008 - 03:06 PMremoved because promoting unsafe play and moves that would bring the game into disrepute
27 August 2008 - 01:53 PMyou know, at almost every game I've played, you can yell "strip search" in the presence of aref and it counts as "patting the dude down" in order to avoid everything your talkign about. That was the rule at the viper-dollack game for example. Hell even Skirmish does it.
A photographer/injured dude/gorrila comes up to your base and you go "that doesn't look like an actual gurilla!" just go up and barrle tap the guy. End of story, no expensive whatever risked, no hard feelings. Threatening the entire media staff because one person pulled a trick over on you on the other hand is horribly poor form.
27 August 2008 - 01:40 PMTyger of course is refrencing to the much whined about CPX game antics. Again, and I really don't get why, without the full story
Josh foote of Delta had a base recon mission where he had to sit in the enemy base for 15 minutes, a near impossible task as field controll had swung the other teams way and it was 50/50 again. I was apart of his little mission (decoy). He had on a grey shirt, yellow goggles, and normal looking pants (jeans I think) with his "I'm allowed to take pictures here" card out because CPX won't letyou have a camera without one of those because of tyger (which was epic). He started out at our insert and made his way in from the right flank while I distracted the right middle.
In regards to "a hit player screeming he has intel" comment that was related to my schtick. Yes I got hit in the arm on the armband tape, yes I looked right at it, no I didn't see it and felt like an utter goober afterwards. Perhaps it was the 200+ group of people in front of me, all with their guns pointed at me, that made me a tad bit hectic when crossing an open field the size of a football field with the my sides armband tape on and no gun. Maybe I was a bit on the nervous side and looking at my arm was more like looking at my watch to tell someone else the time, ask me 5 secounds latter what it is and I won't know. Or maybe there is an offset chance that I thought the 5 refs around me would tell me if I got hit so I didn't look that hard. Role players are not invincible at viper or wayne dollack games.
I didn't even say I had intel. I said I wanted to negotiate, was KGB, and could only talk further with the general. I'll bet your the one who told the refs I was cheating, even though I was clearly marked as the other team. I can say I'm the pope of milasia if I feel like it at a scenario game and even wear a niffty hat. Craige palmer almost led me to your base, it would have been epic, I was bummed out. The point is anyone who looked for five bloody secounds at Josh and asked themselves "photographer?" would go "oh hell no!" He had a cheap camera, a grey shirt on, and didn't look the part at all.
Cheating you all say? What's killing scenario is the mass of bleeding prats making up their own rules and expecting everyone else to live by them. I'll live by the actual rules, have fun with yours.
And here's a picture of that (hit included) of me pulling the decoy move
You can trust me! If I was trying to trick you wouldn't I have taken off the other teams colored arm band? Wouldn't I have? I'm the 10-shot kid, common, you guys know me...
