27 October 2008 - 09:16 AMI am sending out the last of the prizes, I hope, that I still owe people. I think I have taken care of everyone one but if you have not received an email from me today stating your stuff has been shipped and you think I still owe you something please let me know.
I know I have sucked at this all year and I am trying to get it taken care of ASAP. So any quick response to this request would be greatly appreciated. Please take advantage of the fax I have a fire under my !@$%!$#^ right now or it could be another 3 years.
17 October 2008 - 09:29 AMThe purpose of this post is to be positive and constructive so we can make the SPPL better for next year. I would like to know what you liked and things you would like to see improved upon.
For example, for those of you that have attended a finals before, could you tell the difference? Was this one more upbeat and exciting? Did you like the BBQ and Band? Is it something we should continue next year? You could also make suggestion on the rules. Failure to Flatline, for example, has suggested a time-out during games to correct when a call in wrongly called. I think it's a great idea although it would have to have some restrictions like: it can only be used once during the game, it could only be used to question or clarify a call that is wrongly called on the field? Essentially, it give the head ref a chance to consult the rule book or the Ultimate ref at the event.
Anyways, this is what I am looking for. If your comments are constructive and meant to improve the league please post them here. If you're just trying to find fault please take it to another section. There are plenty; trust me. Also, if you haven't played in an SPPL event before this isn't the place for you to make suggestions. I am only looking for people who understand the culture of the SPPL and what we are trying to do and genuinely want to see it improve.
