About Me

I've been gone for a long time...time marches on, priorities change, and before you know it, life has passed by and days turn into years. But you cant deny who you are. You can pretend all you want you're something you're not and ignore what you know to be true...but like a phoenix who must first die in order to be reborn, you come back to what you have always known. What has always been there when others have failed you. You regret leaving it behind by are eternally grateful to find it right where you left it. People ask why I say I "paintball" instead of "play paintball." If you have seen the evolution this sport has underwent as I have, studied its history and its forefathers as I have, been soaked to the bone in 40 degree weather miserable on the outside but wouldn't trade any of it on the inside; then this is more then just something you "play." It is more then just a "game" or even a "sport." Paintball is art of who you are. Always has been...
Excerpt from "Invictus" by William Ernest Henley

"In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloodied, but unbowed."
