Topics I've Started
26 February 2008 - 11:12 PMDoes anyone know if it is possible to remove the core from the solenoid to resolder the wires.
And if so how do you do it.
25 February 2008 - 05:50 PMHere's the problem my cyclone is only feeding every other shot
sometimes I may get 2 shot in a row then I have to press the plunger for the next shot
I have taken the cyclone apart and cleaned all the parts still seems to be doing it.
13 February 2008 - 05:57 PMBeen playing with this setup for a while still needs a little work.
My urban A5
Apex on a 4" barrel
red dot site
Laser pointer visible by LCD
IR camera mounted under Barrel
LCD video eye piece will eventually mount
to either gun or mask. camera and LCD both
run on 1 9v battery
Front grip has trigger link to Etrigger
Rear grip is a combo both e trigger and manual
manual works all the time but e trigger over rides
if e trigger quits manual keeps working.
Total Cost about 425.00
25 October 2007 - 01:23 AMI have heard a lot of comments on an idea I came up with on a defogging fan called the sticky fan it’s a fan that attaches to the inside of your lens.
Some of them positive and some negative. For the positive comments I say thank you.
Now some of the negative comments got me thinking such as the suction cup possibly not holding and the open blades so I came up with a new design the fan now has a more secure way of mounting and comes with a shroud that can be removed if desired, again for those comments I say thank you. But it is the comments like “you would go cross eyed” or “it will get in the way” or “it would be too noisy”
And my favorite “Better get a lawyer”
Let’s start with the first one
1: you would go cross eyed
you won’t go cross eyed the jerk was just a movie.
2: It will get in the way
ok the fan has a diameter of 40mm about the size of a 50 cent piece the center hub is about the size of a nickel when the fan is spinning you get the optical effect of being able to see through the blades as if they weren’t even there so what you are really only seeing
is the nickel size center. Not only that you see more of your own nose bridge than you do of the fan if anything the nose bridge is more of a visual deterrent than the fan.
3: It would be too noisy.
The fan is a 40 mm fan larger that the fans used in commercial mask fans the smaller fans have to spin faster in order to push enough air to keep the lens clear and the faster they spin the noisier they are.
4: Better get a lawyer
it’s people like this who are afraid to take a chance and seem to always play it safe.
Do you think Bill Gates and Donald Trump got to where they are by always playing it safe and never taking a chance
I’m not expecting to make a million dollars on this idea I came up with the idea because I love the game, but I am also a heavy sweater and I can fog up even the best mask.
and if I fog up that easily then so do a lot of other people.
Of all the fans I have sold I have not had 1 negative comment from a buyer only those who have never tried it are giving the negative comments.
All I can is don’t knock it until you try it.
24 September 2007 - 10:16 PMHere is a simple Grenade for a PVC launcher with a 2" barrel.
all you need is 3 3oz Dixie bathroom cups.
Cut the ring off the cups
take 2 of them and glue of tape them bottom to bottom
then fill a balloon with paint or water and wrap with tissue paper this keeps the balloon from being ripped to shreds when it launches.
put the balloon inside of one of the glued cups.
the Grenade is now ready to launch it will slide right down your barrel.
when fired the bottom cup catches most all the air and forces the projectile out.
the third cup
instead of a balloon tape or glue the third cup to the top cup and put a hole in the bottom of the top cup
using a small funnel fill the grenade with Talc powder fire into a wall or against a rock or tree
makes a great smoke screen.
