Topics I've Started
22 June 2008 - 04:50 PMSo I have been noticing my PM7 has a ramping issue, and I need to stop it. I opened the grip and switched DIP 2, and the manual descibed the cycles wrong for programming (the colors didn't match up). Anyone here have a working knowledge of this Proto product, or can direct me to a source to figure this out. Thanks a lot.
08 June 2008 - 04:00 PMHey guys I'm looking for a reliable online vendor for some Dye/Proto jerseys, pants and harnesses. Not looking to pay top dollar for them either. Any ideas?
08 June 2008 - 02:58 PMThanks to the guys on the Spec Ops forums for helping me make up my mind about my newest paintball marker. This PM7 really shoots ropes, and for the first time I played on an actual speedball field. I think I did pretty well!!! I have the Empire Reloader B on it, which has been an awesome hopper too!
03 June 2008 - 02:10 PMOk so I gotta rant here. So, last week, I ordered an item on Ebay (PM07 with the UL frame). I have a big company outing I set up in two days, so when I paid for the item, (Last Tuesday) I had it 2 day air so I had some time to set it up. Keep in mind, this is Tuesday of last week.
So I had an issue checking out with Ultimate Paintball's online checkout system. Apparently, Bank of America had the wrong street address on record for me (they reversed the numbers of my street address). So after a few attempts, the purchase was put on hold. Awesome.
So now I spent 2 days trying to call Ultimate Paintball. I emailed them twice. I got into their online chat. Twice. Nothing. I finally heard back on Thursday. Actually, I finally got through on their customer service line on Thursday. Now, up to here, the only thing that annoyed me was the company's inability to comunicate back to their customers. So no big deal, I am a really laid back person, so it didn't bother me too much.
Now, I pay for the item on Thursday. I'm expecting it on Wednesday, so I get out of work a little early, because the package needs to be signed for. So I come home a bit early today. The package arrives at 4. I open it. It's an A-5/Flatline Barrel package with a bunch of accessories. Cool. But not what I ordered!
So now I'm mad. I have a game in two days. So I call their customer service line. I get through quickly (rare). I start talking to the guy, and he tells me that once I ship the package out, they can ship mine. I say no way, I need it for tomorrow. So the guy talks to his supervisor, I get the new marker overnighted and the $25 shipping fee (from the previous order) refunded. Not bad.
I guess I was just really dissapointed that this transaction went so poorly. They handled the problem well, but their lack of availability the week before further exacerbated my problems. Now I have to try to have someone here to sign for the package tomorrow. Ugh, this really stinks.
But I did learn a lesson myself. I'm not going to order anything and count on it to be there for a game. Even though I really wanted to use it for this upcoming game, I can't count on it.
Thanks for listening.
22 May 2008 - 06:30 PMProto Matrix 07 vs Proto Matrix Rail?
So I get the 07 has an eye system, multiple firing modes (does this mean an e-grip?) and the PMR (is it LP or HP??) has ... much less. As a woodsballer, is it worth the extra money for the PM07? And if it's a low pressure marker, does that mean my HPA that I use for my 98C needs to be replaced with a low pressure tank???
Any help would rock!
