23 July 2008 - 03:32 PMDecidedly awesome.
Now tell me, where did you find a PT Pro Spring feed? I'm in need of another project ^_^
19 July 2008 - 01:12 PMThey made stock barrels a lot better back then - people weren't into changing them as much - especially on pump markers. Kingmann made a particularly nice brass lined barrel.
Thanks for the info; figured the O-rings would either be stock spyder or something easy to find, given the time frame of its manufacture.
Was wondering about the barrel. Its mirror finished, and its looked like brass, but didn't have the heft or the feel. Brass lined makes sense. Can't wait to give this a try. As for the mask, I'll be sticking with my Profilers and Flex 8, though its good to know. It looks kinda cool, in a sorta 'hey, if you hit me in the face, I'll be eating paint through these huge vents' kinda way.
19 July 2008 - 01:06 PMinteresting...is that yellow thing a barrel plug?
Yeah. Oddly enough, its probably the most effective barrel plug I've seen, though I still wouldn't trust it. Its got a hole in the center, presumably to let CO2 escape. Plus the substitution of rubber bands for o-rings on it . . . well . . .
