24 December 2007 - 04:17 AMI personally wire in a new switch, and tape in a spacer on the old switch. Means the board is easier to flick back into the host marker.
06 December 2007 - 05:02 PMI've never seen an A5 mod that successfully housed an A5 and still looked like a P90. B5 mod is the way to go.
28 November 2007 - 06:22 PMWill one tank supply enough pressure and have a high enough flow rate? Or do i need to have multiple tanks on it?
You may find you get shoot down, ALTHOUGH.. .with a decent Reg on your bottle you shouldn't.
Also, how do you suggest i rig the front parts of the guns together? On the back i am using the asa holes, which will be bolted to a piece of metal.
You could get a bracket that bolts between the 2 picatinny rails... or possibly one on top and one underneath... Shouldn't be too much to sort out.
28 November 2007 - 06:13 PMThanks you guys(especially funky diver, oily, and warcowboy, you guys are awseme)
I have had experience with cheap plastic ones and I absolutely hated them.
Funky Diver, you said you could get me a shell, is a M249 SAW the only one available. Listening to what you guys have said i might put the SAW to the side and do a project or two before.
PM Me or Oily, sure we can sort something out for you. Just have a think about what it is you want to do
The point I believe Oily was making is that the majority of airsoft manufacturers don't always use cheap plastic. BUT I never take notice of sweeping statements (no disrespect intended)
I've never come across a shell that has snapped in half, sure, chips and scratches... but what do you expect running around the woods?
28 November 2007 - 11:14 AMWhat he said ^^
We've both (Oily and I) made numerous conversions using Mid-Market Airsoft shells. The SAW's are metal bodied, and other versions, like P90, FN2000, etc are ABS... and rugged. Else we wouldn't have done them, and we certainly wouldn't sell them.
We (Oily and I) can get SAW Airsofts for around $400 plus shipping as stated. Just follow the link in Oily's signature. (pbnation.co.uk)
