  3. central indiana team looking for players

    13 April 2010 - 10:33 AM

we are team akicita - an established scenario-based paintball team based out of central indiana and we're looking for some new players for the 2010 season and beyond. we have our own private woodsball field in sheridan, indiana(just north of carmel) complete with 2 bases, numerous bunkers, and we're less than a mile from facilities to fill co2 and air(the proving grounds).

if you are a responsible player(s) looking for a like-minded team to train with or just want to have fun playing paintball in the woods with players just as crazy as you about the sport let us know! here's a link to our site. feel free to join or just browse. thanks!

  4. things other than paintball-related?

    10 October 2008 - 02:36 PM

hey, this might be a dumb question and i apologize if it's been asked before(i can't imagine it has, but you never know :D can you paint a valve cover in spec ops digi duracoat for an automobile? i got the idea from a contest a car forum i belong to also- who has the most unique valve cover? everytime i open the hood to my car-my other hobby besides paintball- i see a 18"x20" (approx.) blank canvas that just screams for something! it's basically plastic and very simple in the shape and contours(no intricate corners, etc.). my main concern is the ability of duracoat to endure heat. obviously, only the topside of the valve cover would be painted, but i'm sure it still gets hot under the hood- especially during the summer. i see this as a little tribute to my favorite hobby inside my other favorite hobby(yeah, my wife thinks it's stupid too  ). anyways, just thought i'd ask if it's possible and how much it would cost if it were? thanks!
