12 March 2008 - 07:09 AMReloading the q-pod to the marker is a breeze, just untwist the empty one with like a quarter twist, pull it out, and twist the other q-pod in and BAM your ready to go.
Although reloading the q-pods themselves is not a breeze......You have to use the big kidney shaped silo to hold the paintballs, have them go down a tube to your q-pod, and then
turn a crank that loads the paintballs into the q-pod. It took me a very long time to load them, so I ended up selling my Q-loader. Now I kinda wish I haden't done that,
because back then I really didn't understand how the Q-loader works (stupid me). It might seem very technologically advanced for some, and easy to use for others, either way it
just takes time to get used to the system.
06 March 2008 - 06:58 PMWhy would someone get an ego instead of a cyborg when the cyborgs are better? What are the advantages of getting an etek ego 2?
Is the trigger/triggerframe on the 06 cyborg any good?
Is the stock barrel any good? I would be getting some kind of carbon fiber barrel or a brass barrel instead, or maybe another barrel that you guys prefer.
29 January 2008 - 03:00 PMTry a PPS 12" dual ported black matte brass barrel. I have one and its REALLY quiet and REALLY accurate. And its black matte so no shinyness. Although the A5 will never be "quiet", it will be quieter than the stock barrel. And if your getting it on an A5A2 you should have some sort of regulator to keep the velocity consistent. Then you would have a great sniping weapon. The only downside is that its like $120. Worth it though.
16 January 2008 - 07:49 PMI got a blazer a couple months ago after I sold my PM6. It was a very wise decision, it is a lot more reliable, really accurate and quiet with its dual vented brass barrel, great consistency on CO2.
One problem I had was that when I got it the LPR was a quarter turn too low so I just called PPS, got to talk to Craig!!!, and the problem was all sorted out in a matter of minutes.
The other problem was since I was used to shooting an electro, I short-stroked it during games sometimes which caused paint to pop. Then again, this wasn't a big problem because with the blazer you can remove the bolt faster than you snap your fingers.
After getting used to the trigger it wasn't that bad, it was still A LOT more lighter and shorter than my Tippy 98's trigger.
25 October 2007 - 07:07 AMThe blazer is more accurate mainly because of its brass barrel. And I think the blazer has very little kick, especially comparewd to an ego. I shot an 06 ego and my blazer and the blazer definatley had less kick. And with my dual ported brass barrel on my blazer it is super quiet, quieter than any ego ive heard, but not quite as quiet as my pm6.
