16 December 2007 - 09:43 PMYou would be quite surprised at how Omnipat blends into any terrain, like a chameleon.
13 December 2007 - 10:54 PMCool pics you got there. Getting me some Omnipats really soon . Btw you got some nice gear.
Thanks. That last pic with my Bushy is from SC Village, around 2000 - 2002. Since moving to Texas, I so miss SCV a lot!!!! Nothing out here like it.
When I was back in SoCal, I was using ACU, and then switched to Multicam. Am out here now in Texas when I got the Omnipat, but I strongly feel that at SCV or HSP, or even Jungle Island, the Omnipat will work perfectly! You will become darn near ivisible in that terrain. And, if the Fusions can help me survive the heat & humidity of Texas, you will feel like you are barely wearing anything there in SoCal. Grrrrr
12 December 2007 - 12:10 AMhow does Omnipat compare to MARPAT? That is the big question for me....
I plan on buying a spec ops digi sabre vest in the next few days, as it looks similar to MARPAT, and then buying used MARPAT BDU's.
but if Omnipat is superior to it I will reconsider. My main qualm is that I have heard that ultralights tend to rip easily.
I have a pic of me in Omnipat standing next to a guy in Marpat in my review: http://forum.specialopspaintball.com/index...howtopic=134515
At the scenario game I was at down near Houston, Texas, the Omnipat worked way better than any other camo. Even notice the pic with me next to a guy in Multicam, the MC shows up way too green. But honestly, it seems that the Omnipat almost acts like a chameleon, it changes with the color of the terrain around you and fools your eyes. Of course, nothing works if you are moving too much though
05 December 2007 - 01:58 PMI didn't vote, because I use both depending on how I play, or what marker I use.
When I shoot my 07 EGO, the NXe harness (in the digi camo) is the best! Good feel with the pod straps, and is one of the FEW that actually thought of your back - has an excellent back support on it. AND, again with excellent design thinking, the extra "+" elastic bands have velcro on them for folding out of the way.
For a vest, the SpecOps Operative is my total 100% favorite! So modular, I can put it together for any style of play I want. But because it is a much "fuller" vest than others, it can become restricting for certain movements. But for me, it is THE ONLY VEST
For those who want to run & gun, but still use remote - the Dagger or Sabre would be your best bet.

QuoteHey Harry can you use an HPA tank with the epiph kit or does it have to be LPA? Are you firm on that price? Been buying too much lately and the Missus is hot on my trail Does that include shipping? PM me if you like, Thanks.
I only use HPA preset tanks on it (DYE and a Crossfire with the red valve), and had no problems. The CP reg is what converts it to the LPA that the internals need to use. So no sense in using a LPA tank.
The price is negoteable within reason, and ok, I will pay the shipping and INSURE it.
