06 March 2009 - 11:09 AMI've been thinking about ways to build a hud, ever since halo came out. I mean essentially, thats what halo is right? That whole view you see, is a hud.
Think about certain vehicles. Like a corvette for example. I think its the Z06 That has a HUD. All it is doing really is projecting it up onto the window. I like the compass Idea. its very cool. But garmin has a gps out that shows where the other guys are that also have the same gps. To scale.
Realistically, we all want something that could easily tell us how much paint is left, how much air is left. Where everyone is, where the objective is. Basically anything we have seen in a video game. But this is really, really difficult.
Since everyone else is stating what they are in school for, i want to point out i am in school for fire protection engineering technology.
I study people and try to save them from death.
Yes you can thank me later.
Think projection instead of see through material.
06 March 2009 - 10:38 AMI basically just run as a heavy. An a5 with Egrip and the broadsword vest. Plenty of paint. I need a bigger tank however. The fact that im heavy allows me to stay in the game, but hang back and play as supressive fire with my MHG nearby. But really a Cmd can play as whatever he wants. there is definitely no specific load out for this position.
