  1. Ion Virtue Help

    03 February 2012 - 03:36 PM

I recently got a used Ion with a virtue board and had no idea how to use it. I read a bunch of stuff on the board I and I have it down for the most part. Tell me if I'm getting something wrong... I'm just a regular scenario player and have never done tourney stuff. If I do, I imagine I'll find out more, but for the most part the only settings I need to worry about are max ROE and firing mode, right? I set all the debounce etc stuff to default. The last thing that is curious is that after flickering red setting (max ROE) which everything I have read says is the last setting my board goes to a flickering blue. I have no idea what this setting is. If I hit the trigger again it goes to purple, which is firing modes, so I figure it's not telling me that the eyes are in fault mode... or is it? Cuz that's the only other time I know the board to flicker blue. Does anyone have any experience with this!?
  2. WTB T2W Stock!

I know there are probably a bunch of you with them. But I don't blame you for not wanting to give them up. The real question is then, do you know anyone or any place that is willing to give on up? (for a sum of cash, of course)
  3. Occupy Wall Street!...?

    19 October 2011 - 08:29 PM

First off, I searched around the forum and didn't see anyone else talking about this, so sorry if it has been brought up. Second, I know stuff about politics can get pretty heated, so lets try to keep this thread cool.

So in my Business 180 class we keep hearing about the folks rioting all over the world apparently. It seems like in America the group is pretty much going by the name of OWS, or occupy wall street. That's about all I know unfortunately. Every time I try to find out what they are really protesting about I get a list of a lot of things that don't seem to be connected, or some radical psycho-bable from someone who maybe had too much caffeine. So does anyone know what these guys are really about, and what do you think about it all?
  4. Dead...

    06 October 2011 - 08:37 PM

So... I never really got into Spec ops too much on the forum side. Their "glory days" were when I was too young to really know what a forum was, but I enjoyed the gear and patronized their store. Now that I'm a bit older and interested in getting back into paintballing, I'm trying to also get into a paintballing community. Especially since paintball has somewhat died. So my question is, where are all the paintballers? Are there active painball communities in Utah that I can play with? And where do people post at on this forum? It seems like most places haven't been touched since the "glory days" in here. It makes me sad to think that this once great forum is now the empty shell of something that once was. SO. Tell me, is it dead? Or does paintball, and this forum community live!!?

    Thank You
  5. Clear full face shield

    16 August 2011 - 11:37 AM

What if there was a mask that instead of plastic attached to goggles in typical paintball fasion, you had a (just for visualization) army helmet with one of those clear full face shields attached to protect your face. I've never worn such a shield... But I think it would offer a much better field of view and do away with that clastrophbic feeling you can get from a mask. Possible issues I forsee though are... 1- I don't know how it would do fog wise 2- I don't know if it would be able to protect your whole face and 3- I wonder if the shields are made from anyting that the ASTM or PECC would certify... Let me know what you guys think! Something like that would be pretty easy to fab up in your garage...

Didn't mean to come across as a prick on the "Dead" thread, sorry about that.
