"As our way of honoring the women that do play paintball in this male dominated sport" <Taken directly from the Miss Catshack Contest page. It also states that they are requesting the bios so that they can verify that contestants are also players. As for the age requirement, I personally think that 16 is acceptable. What is the average age of players in our sport? What is the average age of NEW players in our sport? Personally, I feel that there should be a few pics submitted from each contestant - on the field and off. We should be able to see what they look like without the mask as well as with. I don't know that awards should matter much. This could be discouraging to newer players. How long they have played or how good they are isn't all that important to me, just that they play. Again, lets not discourage newer players. Just my .02

I always keep extra clear uv filter lens caps in my vest pockets.....that way, you can change one out in a safe spot on the field if necessary due to splatter or a direct hit.

Also, those little alcohol wipes are quite handy for cleaning up paint. The biggest problem with paint on the side of a high quality lens is that it gets in where the lens turns and adjusts....if that isn't kept clean, after a time, it tends to not adjust so easily.

video is very nicely done DTR. Glad to see a little footage from some where other than the DMZ.

Wait, there was a field beyond the DMZ? ;) LOL, I know, I know, next time maybe I will venture out a little further....

Thanks for the video DTR, much appreciated! Gives a better idea of the whole spectrum of the event!

I too had a blast, enjoyed playing on Saturday, taking pics on Sunday, and spending time with old friends and making new ones. To all of those who helped my son on Sunday when he smacked his head into a bunker, thank you. If it had been anything besides his head, I might have been really worried! :D I will get my pics uploaded as soon as possible...I am uploading now to the computer, need to edit, then upload to the net.... then you get to see them! I will keep you posted!
Thanks to the producers, sponsors, and most of all the players! Though the weather gods seemed angry, the game sure was fun!
