05 February 2008 - 07:51 AMCure bolt O rings will need to remain lighly greased in order to reduce wear & tear on them. Keep em lightly greased, and you will have no issues dryfiring. Let them dry out however, and it will increase the odds of tearing/breaking.
I've been shooting my 05 ego w/ a modded bolt (modded stock bolt to shape of cure w/ no o rings) and a TI rammer (same thing as zick kit prettymuch) and it doesnt care WHAT paint i put through it.
I would personally have to disagree with those who say egos do nothing but chop paint. I have never ever had a chop with mine. Sounds like they have their LPR turned up too high, mixed with possible low batteries in their halo, allowing the stack to have enough room for a ball to bounce in the breach, and maybe even a bad run of paint.
23 January 2008 - 06:45 AMIt would help to explain the full scenario in your original post then. Why leave details out regarding the situation that could affect the response you receive, then you get defensive and feel you've been 'attacked'?
All you said originally was that you got into a drawn out firefight where you apparantly 'just couldnt get a shot' on someone.
18 January 2008 - 03:26 PMI'd say work on your aim or move rather than be responsible for letting the ghost flanker possibly ice your whole team. No firefight should ever be 3-4 minutes of 'stalemate' in a 1 on 1 situation. That just means you're both not moving.
If your opponent isnt moving, use it to your advantage and move.
BTW, the scene you're talking about, the german dude walks right by Upham because he doesnt consider him a threat, just some little sissy who cant handle war, as well as that he probably remembered Upham saving his sorry arse from being executed earlier. i dont think your analogy is very good in that respect.
Quick edit **
I agree with RTHEX9.... and I would not want you on my team knowing you take this approach.... means you're not reliable in covering your teammates backs.
