20 March 2009 - 03:21 PMHello,
I have a Imagine that was shooting perfect a few months ago but now it wont break out of 230 FPS using co2 or hp. It gets an occassional bump to 260 using hp but then its back to regular 230. Now, I tried the pull apart spring trick to try and be a quick fix for my gf to use for the day, but nothing changed despite the fact that the spring was at least 25% longer then when I started with it.
Do you think a spring kit will fix the low FPS despite the fact stretching out the old one did nothing even though the marker is a year old and not used much or something else? Thanks for the help
10 March 2008 - 11:16 AMYesterday I finally got to use my mag for a first real game and I ran into a lot of probs. A quick description of my problem was I had to drop down 2 carrier sizes as it kept leaking and my trigger pin was sticking constantly along with me being unable to shoot with red spring at all (had to use short) even when I maxed out the velocity (one good shot registered 345fps). Though the whole time I never actually got the "venting" of it and couldnt turn it up more as the pin kind of hits something I guess, not sure as I was afraid to turn it anymore since it gets so hard that I thought I might break something if i did. The post I gave of it in more detail is here: http://automags.org/...ad.php?t=227506 .
Figured I post this question here to get some other point of views so you think my possible of over oiling like someone there said can cause these problems? I have macroline setup, so I dropped a good 7 or 8 drops directly into the macro line and macro elbow next to the valve itself. I that mainly because it was 32 out and figured I'd make up for the coldness and everywhere I read it says to keep the mag well oiled, so I figured that is what is meant. Any ideas?
23 February 2008 - 01:42 PMI just went out and bought some macroline hoses and decided to put them on now. I'm using the macroline up top and on the bottom I took off my other guns dropforward and used the SS line from that for the bottom half of the gas-thru as I need to get a new ASA. My problem is now when I gassed up the trigger gets no pressure what so ever. When I first got the gun I popped on the tank and it worked prefectly fine. I swapped out the spring they put on for the red one and then today I put on the hoses. I havent touched anything in the valve at all except for when I turned the velocity screw up and down to see if that helped. I got 2000psi left in the tank so I know its not low on air even though the reg is set to 900psi and I tried running the tank straight to the valve, so I know my hoses are not clogged. I have the RT-ULE cutstom in case you dont know already. Any ideas on what is causing the problem? Thanks for the help.
20 February 2008 - 04:07 PMHello all, I finally got my ULE custom in the mail 5 mins ago and I got to say, this gun is a lot nicer then I already thought it would be. I have a few questions though. The first is, how do I get the feedneck off? I tried twisting it off, but it seems pretty solid. Should I just keep trying harder or is there a trick to it? The second is they ran the air line straight to the valve, so how long should I be able to wait until I should need to take the valve off? I'm asking as I was going to go buy and put a quick release on tonight, but if I can wait later or if its not really needed, then I will wait. Thanks and I'll put pics up later when I'm done setting it up if you guys want them.
12 February 2008 - 02:58 PMHello all. I've finally gotten a new job and with that I have now ordered a ULE custom direct for AGD along with a crossfire tank, NXe JRNY loader and j&j barrel. My only question is will I need a new feedneck to go with my JRNY loader or is the stock one fine? Besides my pistol, I've only owned a Spyder Imagine which had a crappy tube feedneck that I replaced promptly with a clamping one, so I dont know if the ULE Custom will have the same crappy tube feedneck or if it will actually hold my JRNY without much trouble? Thanks for any help.
