02 March 2011 - 08:23 PMCheck out your thread over on MCB.
"I don't know if this is the right section to write this complaint about Extreme Stitchworks/Special Ops, but here it is. Last week I was browsing through CCM threads and came upon this thread regarding custom made cases for the T2. I had had been looking for one for a little while. So when I saw this I immediately called Extreme Stitchworks and was sent to MOATI's voicemail. I left a message with all my details and what I wanted to order. That was last thursday around 10 or 11 am his time. I even sent a e-mail also. Well today is Wednesday and I did not hear from him. So I called again today around 10 am his time. They told me he was on the phone and would be glad to send me to his VM. Again I left my information.
All I can say is that they must be rolling with so much business that they are not taking anymore orders. I seriously doubt that is the case in these economic times. I have dealt with this company in the past and was not impressed with the quality of workmanship. But, I thought I might give them another chance. Well, they have lost my business. They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.
I belong to a large and well known scenario paintball team here on the east coast that has used Special Ops gear in the past. After this lack of dealings with this company I am certainly going to spread the word to my cohorts. Good luck Extreme Stitchworks"
29 December 2010 - 04:37 PMIs it possible to get the Dagger X vest with Molle on the back as opposed to the interlock and pouches that come on it standard?
Cost for this one modification and in OD Green?
Thank you very much for your time guys, and good luck with the move!
02 June 2009 - 09:54 AMI'm honestly so irritated with this that I can't go back to bed...
It's 11:42 am here in ND, and I work evenings... What this means to you is that I've only had a few hours of sleep... There are only a few days left to go before my buddies and I load up and head to OK D-Day.
And now, we're on to the irritating part. Some random dude just got off my phone spouting off about D-Day.
My question is.... Why does this person have my phone number?
Let me tell you why. Your contact information gets entered into a database with the bunker which is then distributed to your unit commanders... This information was further disseminated to (depending on your unit) your (regiment, etc) commander.
I don't know about any of you, and I'm sure some of you may not have an issue with this... But I do. Personally when I fill out an online form for a purchase I assume that my phone number is given to them in case something goes wrong with the transaction... And in this case, if there is some sort of emergency situation that the folks at OK D-Day need to contact me. But I get really aggravated when some random dude is calling me up a few hours after I managed to finally fall asleep after work talking about D-Day... "What's your name, how many are you bringing, what guns are you guys shooting..." First off.... Why are you calling me... Second off... IT'S JUST A GAME!
I am really not impressed with this... I have already called The Bunker and they've assured me that there would be a disclaimer on their website stating that they will be distributing your phone number to your unit commander next year... And the person I talked to was very very pleasant to speak with.
I understand that we come from all over the country, and that we're trying to get in gear and do well..... But leave it online and in E-Mail. Most people who are serious enough about the game to care is going to be there at least a few days early anyway... And the people who aren't serious aren't going to get that way no matter what you do.
I'm sure I'll catch at least a little flak from people telling me to just deal with it... But I ask those people... If you ordered a CD online from a small music shop in southern California... And then some guy called you up promoting his band a few days later... Wouldn't you be a little PERTURBED?
This here, EXACT SAME THING. A business giving out a phone number that was received during a business transaction to another person, who isn't an employee... Complete (filtered)
