15 January 2008 - 01:37 PMGood Call Jayson,
I have never played in a official sppl tourney but we play 3 flag all the time. I think it all comes down to what the owners and creators of the sppl want for the sppl. No matter what rules are in play there is always people for and against it. I think instead of arguing over the rules we should just give our advice to the sppl guys and let them make the call since they are the ones running the show and I am thankful that the sppl exists. I feel that they should keep the sport about honesty and integrity and if you have a well based opinion or suggestion for something the sppl will listen but in the end they have the final say and we should respect what direction they want to take the sppl. They done good so far!

Old tanks can be such a blessing in disguise. Take them to walmart and do their co2 exchange where you exchange it for a full one. All you do is pay for the fill. they take your old one and ship it to a company that test them and make sure they are safe and refill them. I'm sure they have included the getting out of date tanks into the price of the exchange. I had 20 old 9 oz and took them in to walmart 5 at a time for a while till i get all new ones i didn't want to make them run out in case other people needed co2.
15 January 2008 - 11:30 AMmy question is: are the treads the same between a hpa reg and a co2 reg? if not then i'd be worried but if they are the same i don't see a problem as long as the people who put it together did so correctly.
seems like a waste of a good carbon fiber tank.
15 January 2008 - 08:49 AMSome fields/events won't allow you to use it because it doesn't have a trigger guard on it. FYI
