13 May 2011 - 02:24 AMThird on the MCB referral - those guys are probably the only ones that would have access or even want to sell - though I second the idea that they might be a bit offended if you're just going to take it apart.
04 October 2010 - 07:29 AMI certainly didn't mean for my comments to be taken personally (so please don't). I just get very offended when someone even brings up the question - should girls play? Since it seems to assume, at least in passing, that there is something wrong with it.
Otherwise, the magazine needs a lot of work - but it really isn't too much different from the other magazines out there on the market today (they all need work to be relevant to the current playing population).
04 October 2010 - 02:36 AMFields used to be very strict about players not wearing colors that approximated the refs (either yellow or red) - but that doesn't seem to be as enforced as it should be. I see plenty of players wearing red (not just jerseys, but just plain red t-shirts). I would hope that, especially in scenarios, fields would clamp down, but I can see it definitely being a problem.
03 October 2010 - 06:12 PMWow - even the title of the article screams "sexism." And editors are your friend - as posted above, the errors in spelling and grammar were pretty bad (not just in this article, but there are plenty of examples throughout the publication).
(and in the publication tagline - paintballs should have a apostrophe)
I'm not goin to pile-on, but I'm personally offended by even the question being asked (should women play).
01 October 2010 - 07:45 AMGiven their history of quality control issues and the like, I'd say anything from them is at least suspect.
