13 December 2007 - 11:46 PMYou know Josh, I can respect that you obviously have issues with Pyro, but really, must you constantly remind us in every single thread that pops up about it? No offense, but it starts coming off as really cocky and arrogant. You have a right to your opinion, and anyone with an opposing viewpoint has a right to theirs as well.
It's my duty to inform the people of what happened, the sames goes with Skirmish and other fields that we have been to that have been lacking in one form or another. Would you rather I let the guy go and spend his money knowing that he just might be let down?
I can not see how it comes off as being "really cocky and arrogant", but to each his own.
What just happened!?
I thought that was a fairly innocent little post.
RogueShooter: Thanks for getting my back. i appreciate it. I agree with all you said.
Deltapaintball: I saw the reply, chuckled a little, and kept searching the forums. I don't care. I only post when I feel I have something to contribute. Opinions, experience, tech knowledge, whatever. I've been here a few years now and expect some critics. Fine, bring it. However I am surprised that someone who believes they have a duty to protect other woodsballers from the tyranny of the evil paintball producers in the world would simply call those woodsballers "ignorant". Then to not understand how that sounds "Cocky and arrogant", I believe is cocky and arrogant. IMHO, but to each his own.
That said.....(puts on FLAME retardant suit ) From what I can tell you and your Delta guys have a great deal of knowledge and passion for woodsball that you like to share with others. HELL I think I even went to the site to read the "what to bring to a scenario" list as NJNAM was my 1st one! Overall I think the woodsball community respects you and your team. Please continue to earn that respect.
12 December 2007 - 09:14 PMI'm a double/triple tap guy myself. Sometimes it's because I'm stalking someone and don't wan't to get zeroed in on. Other times it's ammo conserving. Even when i lay down cover it's only 2 or 3 shots at a time, just in bursts that are closer together.
12 December 2007 - 07:16 PMNJNAM was my 1st scenario and I had a great time.
That said, there were many issues with the game that I have discussed in this and other forums. Most of which were kind of thrown at Pyro late and he did the best he could with what he had. I at no time felt I was being cheated or decieved on purpose. It didn't live up to the expectations of the advertising, but I will certainly be there in 08' for a second shot!
I'll be the guy in the camo.
