In most instances you will be able to tell which unit you belong to by the patches being worn. Since patches are readily available for all of the Allied beach units (1st, 4th INF, etc.) you will get the feel of the game real quick....just attack in the same direction.

It helps to know the scoring periods for OK D-Day. You will get that info from your unit officer corps. If all else fails, just head toward the sound of action.

Radios for the average player at D-Day are worthless. FRS/GMRS channels get stepped on real bad. On top of that. Everyone wants to run VOX and there is absolutely no radio discipline. Not to mention that this year there will be +2000 players. The command groups will be running their own net which is usually UHF or VHF.

Do you have a tank just itching to take on the Allied AB? I have the opportunity you have been looking for.

    Great news!

The German High Command has sent a tank kompanie from the Italian theater to reinforce the 6th FJR.

The 15.FallschirmPanzer.Kompanie has been assigned from the Fallschirm-Panzer Division 1 Hermann Göring. The code name for the kompanie will be TF Heydte. I will be in command of the TF. Currently, we have 4 tanks assigned: Das Grindhaus, Sinister Urge, Creeper, and Hellbilly Deluxe.

If you know of tankers who are itching to attend D-Day or players that want to play alongside tanks (Mech warriors), recruit them.

We are going to give the AB a lesson they will never forget. Victor Ridge was the start; Das Grindhaus gave them a bloody nose; TF Heydte will grind them into the dirt.
