Topics I've Started
26 February 2011 - 03:12 PMHey Spec Ops,
It's been awhile. I used to frequent these boards like it was my job back in the day. But I bowed out of paintball for a bit, sold my gear, and did some real-life grown-up stuff (going to college, paying bills, stuff like that). Well, the time has come, and I want to get back into the sport. The marker I wanted to get was the Tippmann A-5A2. However, I'm having a bit of a problem finding some of the parts. It would be awesome if I could find one completely assembled that I could just purchase brand new. But I understand the company hit some rough spots and they aren't making those available anymore. Finding the A-5 is easy enough. What I'm looking for are the modification parts necessary to turn it into the A2. If it turns out that these parts aren't all available, I'll probably purchase the A-5 and then just kit it out with the Identity Crisis bullpup frame. But I'd really like to get my hands on the old staple marker of Special Ops lore (seeing as how I could never afford it when I was on these boards in high school).
I figured the best place to start my search would be in the Tippmann section.

This is the sickest set of playing gear I have seen from Empire. And that is saying something because usually i try to stick to my digi-camo Fusions. But I really want a set of these. Do you think I should pick them up?
27 February 2008 - 02:14 PMAlright for all those on the Special Ops Factory team, do you guys think a podcast could be done? Sort of a "day in the life" kind of thing. It would follow you guys all through the open season, traveling from game to game. Someone could have a helmet camera so that when you were at a game, you could have footage. After a game episode, it would follow you guys on the road-trip to the next game. Then another FPS episode. It would give big games some coverage as well as Special Ops and the guys behind the masks.
Just a thought.

07 November 2007 - 12:17 PMHey everybody.
I don't know who around here might remember me (if I was even that memorable to begin with), but I was around for a long time back in the good old days of the forums. This place used to be my home on the internet. But things changed in my life, and I had to leave without a good bye. I would check the forums once in awhile, maybe even post. But paintball had been placed in the backseat for more important things. Now, I've got a job, a girlfriend that loves me, and I know where I'm going to apply for college and major in. Life is set and good. Now I can come back and pick up where I left off about a year or two ago. So here I am. I can come back to the sport that I love to play, and the people that make it the best sport in the world.
