22 January 2013 - 12:04 PMAlright, here's the deal:
Tiberius 8 pistol - this one is done in a unique anno from back when USMG was selling paintball gear. They had a limited run of Tiberius markers in this color.
1. Tiberius Pistol
2. Lapco barrel
3. One Tiberius Parts kit (not pictured)
4. 7x magazines. Each has a 12 gram quick changer on it
5. 2x thigh rigs for magazines. One is Tiberius's (I believe), and the other is a Spec Ops one (for sure)
6. 1x thigh holster from Spec Ops. Pick and choose whether you want all the mags with you or have the pistol as a sidearm instead
No paintball trades. No paintball trades. No paintball trades.
Item is up at other locations as well. First come, first serve basis.
09 June 2011 - 04:46 PMSo, I've gone through my list of possibilities regarding this, and run out of ideas.
There's a really faint leak in the chamber as best as I can tell.
Following the manual, I reset the solenoid per the instructions. Still leaked.
Then I tore it open, cleaned the solenoid and used a little of the grease that came with the TM7. Still leaks.
At this point, I'm not seeing any bad orings or obvious issues. Any ideas for something to look at again? Anything I could have missed?
The marker is functional, aside from a faint leak that just bugs me. It seems fine for standard games but any leak bothers me when it shouldn't be there. I'm not sure the rate of leak for something like a scenario, because I haven't measured it. It's really quiet though, so can't be that big of a leak.
Anyone who knows these particular poppet valve design, please help if you can.
EDIT: Resolved through more experimentation. As noted above, was not the orings nor the solenoid.
27 May 2011 - 12:40 PMFor those who don't know, Nate was greatly involved at Splat Tag and poured a lot of his time and effort into making the field better. And that's just scratching the surface for what he did in and around the MN/WI paintball community.
Guys, I highly recommend this one. The money's going to a good cause, and you're playing good paintball. All in the name of remembering someone who did a ton for paintball.

Nate died last Oct before seeing the birth of his daughter a few months later. Sophia Jonae Wise.
Splat Tag helping to set up a scholarship found for Sophia.

23 May 2011 - 07:57 AMAnybody who's been to OK D-Day knows exactly where Joplin is.
Saw the article this morning and figured I'd share since its proximity to D-Day makes it a bit more noteworthy for the forum.
Link to all the Midwest tornados of Sunday
QuoteA massive tornado that tore through the southwest Missouri city of Joplin killed at least 89 people, but authorities warned that the death toll could climb Monday as search and rescuers continued their work at sunrise.
City manager Mark Rohr announced the number of known dead at a pre-dawn news conference outside the wreckage of a hospital that took a direct hit from Sunday's storm. Rohr said the twister cut a path nearly 6 miles long and more than a half-mile wide through the center of town, adding that tornado sirens gave residents about a 20-minute warning before the tornado touched down on the city's west side.
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon said around 2,000 buildings were destroyed as the twister swept through this city of about 50,000 people some 160 miles south of Kansas City.
We got hit with a pretty ugly tornado same day, but nothing that remotely compares to this one.
