Posts I've Made
20 May 2009 - 08:31 PMI would have to say that I agree with what alot of people have said, its based on personal choice, i like to have a head covering and a jacket that adds cover to my shoulders, also having your marker wrapped is nice, as it hides the shape of the hopper and such. I do not wear my ghillie all the time, and i have it seperated into jacket and pants so i have more flexibility. One of the best ways I have found to get your pod pack and other gear is to have your jacket a size or two larger so that you can wear it over your vest or pod pack. It works quite well for me. My suggestion is repeating what other people have said, get as good as you can without your ghillie combo, and when you have it, you will find that its easier to use it than you think.
06 May 2009 - 10:22 AMSorry to burst your bubble, but 1. This has been posted multiple times already. 2. This is not a new technology, it is just being marketed by Tiberius now in an attempt to garner additional profit. Next time, use the search button. Yes, it is a fascinating technology; but it's been covered thoroughly.
I now challenge you to build your own marker to fire these new projectiles. Tiberius arms will be selling a pricey new marker and conversion kit to utilize these new projectiles, but I challenge you to build a First Strike platform of your own.
1. i did use the search button, did not find a thing about it, if this is a repost then i apologize.
2. if you do not want to buy the new Tiberius conversion kit, then you could do a mod to any 98c that would let you use it, though it may require some removal of metal from the feeding hole on the side, though, since the round is actually shorter than its width, 0.684 wide and 0.679 long. the amount of metal needed for removal to just slide them into the chamber when the feed neck is down should be very minimal, that way you can just feed one, take your shot and pop your hopper back up so you can use the regular paintballs. I don't see this as being that much of an issue, since with this technology, one shot one kill is a high likely hood.
thanks for setting me straight about it being posted, you want to link so those so i can see all that has been said already?
