RPG. Since the Hammer is a Heavy Gunner so a RPG would be good for them.

I'm not a hammer but the only problem I could see with that is not all woodsball games let you use a law rocket. Also if you load a hammer up with a double trouble and a law they might start sinking into the ground.

1) No.
2) I've played close to 100 games, and I've never seen a tank.
3) Why bother?
4) They're banned for most fields except under certain circumstances.
5) No.
6) Gee, I know! Let's give the fire support guy a big honkin' weapon that will prevent him from carrying much beyond a Tac 8 that also can't be used on people! I'm a freakin' genius! [/Sarcasm].

Almost every scenario game I've been to, LAWs were allowed. My team usually had one or two people who only carried a LAW. I've got enough weight/bulk on my back already. The only player I've known to carry both types(but not a DT, just a standard marker) and his god awful huge AIRPG LAW rocket was DEMO Goblin and his setup weighed a freakin ton. Especially when he was using his flamethrower at blanding. Cool to look at, but I ain't carrying it. After a 24 hour game, anyone ever feel an inch or two shorter? I do after carrying a full pack around. And I think I've got one of the lighter packs on here. 3200 paintballs and a 5 lb CO2.

LOL :D lay off the coffie! :eck:

Actually, I'm generally more amiable when I've had my freakin' coffee. Sadly, I've spent the entire day alternating between class, coding and the gym-no chance for coffee.

no DT, no hammer. PERIOD. granted it doesn't have to be double a5's, but a dual/triple/quadruple/etc gun is mandatory.

That, too. A Hammer with a single gun is a Broadsword.

yayy.. people finally agreeing on the duality required for hammer-ness.

actually, the guy caryring a laws rocket/rpg is a "javelin" via specops terms. however when im not carrying a d/t, i do one of 3 things:

1. law and pistol
2. mines and pistol
3. regular marker and vest

the reason i dont (anymore) carry a law and d/t isnt the weight, its how cumbersome it is. if laws were clip fed, i'd carry them along with my dt. but ive carried a dt and law, and trying to relaod the thing is like wearing a spacesuit... include the mask, patience, and balance, and its like... level 5 paintball ninja required. lol.

besides, hammers are more concerned with the sustained assault of an area, not the one shot wonders of laws.

and also, EVERY scenario game iv egon to, and ehard about (except d-day o.k.) allows, and encourages laws... and as a scenario player i see them as a necesity almost... tanks or no tanks. i cant describe how many times ive said to myself..god i wish i had a law right now!

Of course they do. Like they're really going to say "no" to you while you're pointing THAT thing at 'em... :D

Sigs aren't actually allowed on the Special Ops Forum, so I don't have one.

LAWs are -NOT- banned from most fields; they're banned from walk-on play, usually. But Big Games are far superior, anyway, so if you're playing in one, this would be fine.
