unless you plan on being a general, your idividual plan is only as important as the number of people you can get ot follow it

Haha, yeah, I know.

Of course, from what I've seen, the same holds true for the General. My plan takes this into account, and it plays on it. Hopefully Beaker will be General again, I might be able to pitch it to him.

PM me your plan, I've been to quite a few big games at HSI, I can help you fill in any holes you may have in your plan. Remember, the simpler the plan, the more likely it is to succeed

K.I.S.S- Keep It Simple, Stupid.

I'm definately liking the sounds of those on field insertion bases though. And now that I found this thread, I will probably post as much useless stuff as last year, sorry everyone.

Plans, unless your going to work with your own or multiple teams, it just doest seem like they have that big of an affect out at HS. I mean our biggest strength is really with the Officers if they know what they are doing, and its even greater when the other players will listen.
But thats the thing, some players really dont like to listen and just sit back and watch the action unfold.

Example: We had West Point and were pushing onto Bravo, with the greater deck of cards. What do most of our players do? Stand and try to long ball their way, while the Yellow players are in the middle of the road. If we have good officers and good complience with the players, Red will be solid for the win.

The other problem with specific plans, is that since its such a big filed with a large amount of players; there are way too many unkowns for something to work perfectly. Really, I would have to say that if your working on a plan, try to make its use in the village. The village is a smaller area that get completely INSANE during huge fire fights. Having a plan to keep a strong defense could make it all the more better.

Everything else is setting up "Split second" defenses and pushes that get nerve wracking :dodgy:

Gahh, I've been thinking about this thread for a while. Definetly gonna be a red team win this year. This thread brings up memories from last year of swamps and castles, and other things......

When does pre reg get cut off?

John

I think red could do it this year. I general'd day one and we had yellow by the gonads. But I had lots of help. Firebase's Black Ops Project was a huge success, expect it to be rolled out in a grander style this year. This year we've got more backers, including some extremely talented SPPL teams and the Skunk Bird Army. Yeah, I'm feelin it...

GO RED!!!!!
