US SOCOM will be attending Utah for sure so let me know how many guys you got. I have 7 confirmed for Utah, 12 for Texas, 18 for DDay and only 5 for Georgia so far. We will be attending all seven events this year if possible. All monies have been paid for the qualifiers I listed so we are guaranteed to be registered.

Looking forward to going into battle with you again this year. Remind me to explain to you a game strategy that I was shown to me from a very unlikely source. As unreal as it sounds, it will win any game against any team at any skill level in less than 9 minutes. I was amazed when the 3 star showed me how it worked. It is really secret though, so I wont mention anything else on the forum, I'll probably go post it on a public web server somewhere instead. =) Just so you know, it is so effective, that we can't even use it until the finals this year. Once another team picks up on how simple this chess move is, all the tactics go right out the window.

So keep me up-to-date on how many players you have and expect to see an email from me shortly explaining logistics of our events. BTW, I heard there is a guy playing up there in Utah this year named Wheelchail and he is approximately good. =) I've also heard he has a new gun this year,so watch out!

One of the best 'people' I have had had the pleasure of meeting and hanging out with. I even got to play 4 games with him on our side at the finals. The mind of a champion, the resolve of a Special Forces Warrior and the heart of a Lion! Who needs more than that? Although I would say combat diving is very difficult in a kilt!

Will be sending a team from the Grand Junction, CO area. I've been wanting to go to one of these events since the first year it started. Looks to be some mighty fine paintball action.:D

Approximately Good? LOL!!!

Combat diving is no more difficult in a kilt then in pants, you just don't to be behind me when I do it!

I am *very* excited about how many teams are popping up from all around Colorado, some people have said we are a "weak" state when it comes to paintball participation, time to show them what's up!

Magnet, what's the name of your team? Look forward to meeting you on the field!

Magnet and I and about 6 others are Team Feel The Paint. We have been playing together as a team for about a year now. We have a guy that has a knee injury, what are the rules on substitutions if he's not well by then. We are all new to the SPPL. We have been practicing all winter long and hope it's cold in September.

Typically you have til day of the event to add, or adjust your roster as neccessary. Heck often times players are picked up who show up wishing to play for anyone.

You can plan on having 15 or so guys, 12 play while 3 can sub in/out of games. 2006, I had arranged to play on one team since they were a few short, but while at SpecOps got picked up right away by Hellfire.

i never played @ any SPPL event before then, but i tell you what, the experience makes you wanna go back for more....team or no team.

i'm coming back with US-SOCOM. C-ya there....

As Dr Demo replied our team is "Feel The Paint". You might remember me from the CPPL site as "timbpaint". I have'nt posted on there for some time. If you are from the denver/springs area I also played the tournys for sevearal years on a team named "Shell Shock". We are a few players short of 10 but are working on recruiting.

I also look foward to meeting up with you at the Utah event.

Your roster can have a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 players, but only 10 are permitted on the field at any one time.

Pants? who wears pants when they dive? Tell you what, I'll don my wetsuit and you can dive in your kilt. I may see a slight advantage there...

You know what they say. "You can dive with me...but resurfacing is questionable...=)

Does anyone know the nearest airport to the field ? I am going to buy my ticket from Florida and I am clueless about Utah.

I believe Salt Lake City is the closest major airport. It is south of Ogden but not too far. Easy drive to the field.

Heh, SLC airport is the Only airport! :P The field is easy to get to though- Get onto I-15 heading north and you will stay on I-15 Until you get to Ogden/Harrisville exit 346. Turn left and head up the road (W. Pioneer Rd.) 1.2 miles and we will be off to the left.
