yessss!! have a tourney in california!! norcal! i think venture games paintball field could do it, ive never been there but seems pretty good for woodsball. lawl!

naw so cal!!

How about we compromise and shoot for Central Cal. Keep the travel time down to just a few hours for everybody.

Plus there aren't very many fields very conducive in Cali for SPPL in Noer Cal, and the few in So. Cal that are won't give up their rec fields for a 20 team tournament. Now unless you the players are willing to pay about triple the reg fees any of the other Qualifiers do...That's the only way JI or SCV would let us in.

And trust me, this field Rory is looking at now is ten times better than any of those fields, or Anything in Nor Cal. I should know, I've played them ALL! The field Rory is looking at now for Cali is AS GOOD AS any of the the best SPPL fields I've played. (Splat Action, Spec Ops and Oklahoma) You won't be dissapointed!

my local field has 4 big rec ball fields, and in big events they take off the fences and have one huge combined game. it's insanely huge and fun

And what is the name of your local field or at least the web site? The location would be nice as well? Something with any type of actual information aside from just your thoughts would be nice! ;)

i think paintball jungle in american canyon would be perfect. it's like a 50 acre eucalyptus grove that has plenty of room for anything sppl would need.

A good way to find out how far your are or how long it will take to get there via vehicle? try using map quest.
Exam: MAP QUEST! From Los Angeles, California to Wyandotte, Oklahoma
Maneuvers Distance Maps
1: Start out going North on the 110 toward Pasadena. <0.1 miles Map

2: Keep to the far right hand lanes. 0.2 miles Map

3: Merge onto US-101 S. 0.7 miles Map

4: Keep LEFT to take I-10 E toward SAN BERNARDINO. 40.0 miles Map

5: Merge onto I-15 N toward BARSTOW / LAS VEGAS. 73.0 miles Map

6: Keep RIGHT to take I-40 E toward LAS VEGAS (Passing through ARIZONA- NEW MEXICO- and TEXAS- then crossing into OKLAHOMA). 1202.4 miles Map

7: Take the exit toward JOHN KILPATRICK TURNPIKE. 0.8 miles Map

8: Take the KILPATRICK TURNPIKE EAST exit- EXIT 139. 0.4 miles Map

9: Merge onto JOHN KILPATRICK TURNPIKE (Portions toll). 24.5 miles Map

10: Stay STRAIGHT to go onto TURNER TURNPIKE (Portions toll). 16.9 miles Map

11: TURNER TURNPIKE becomes I-44 E (Portions toll). 150.5 miles Map

12: Take the US-59 / US-69 exit- EXIT 302- toward AFTON / FAIRLAND / GROVE. 0.6 miles Map

13: Merge onto US-60 E. 12.9 miles Map

14: Turn RIGHT onto N4635 RD. 0.6 miles Map

15: N4635 RD becomes CR-N4635. <0.1 miles Map

16: CR-N4635 becomes N MAIN ST. 0.1 miles Map

17: End at Wyandotte, OK US Map

Total Est. Time: 21 hours, 39 minutes Total Est. Distance: 1524.38 miles

Or if your really serious about attending just fly to a qualifier! we had 15+ ppl fly out to the OKL. Qual. just plan accordingly and save your pennies.

I will use this same very method, once I find out where the CA. Qual. will be conducted.

naw hsp does that, and yes its small for sppl, but not everyone is gon come. so cal is speedball based beacuse there are no woods here. and now hsp has 5 fields, a new field is added. so they can combine that

I hate to be a buzzkiller and i didnt read all of this so im sorry if it was answered....

But this is the 3rd year now that SPPL is SUPPOSE to have a California tourny.

The other two years the info was TBA as well, I'd really hate for the 3rd straight year for it not to go down. All the other states/ regions have fields and dates, except California, just like the other years.

So I'm just saying, don't get our hopes up for nothing, please.

Unfortuanately That not the reason why ppl will not attend an event there! And I have already made attempts to get the SPPL at HSP & SCV venues!
