A while ago I bought a chronograph. Execpt whenever I try the use it the constant whines of "it takes to long" and "it doesnt matter" come up. Now, im beginning to wounder. Does it matter? Or is it a so called "unless waste of time?" Is there a good reason or story I could give them to make them understand the importance of a chronogrpah?

No one wants to have their mask give way and end up with shards of a lense in their eyes...
Does that work?

According to the manufacterers, after one or hit from about <8 yards you are supposed to throw that lense away and replace it with a brand new one.
I think I just need to refuse to play until every one is chronoed. I know at least one person is shooting at an extremely high velocity.

You gas up the marker, put on the gloves, strap on the mask, and walk onto the field.. it doesn't matter that you failed a test, that your girlfriend broke up with you last night, or that you got a ticket on the way there...your world is right for the next couple hours, this is your heaven on earth... live it... love it..
How the hell could you stop me? Why in the world would you try? I go hard forever that's just how I'm designed, that's just how I was built.

1. It's the smart thing to do.
2. Nobody likes to get shot by markers shooting hot.
3. Shooting hot dramatically increases the chance for injury.
4. It doesn't take that long to properly chrono.
5. It's a good habit to get into.
6. It gives you an idea of what speed your marker shoots the best.
Redleg you nailed it there, I totaly agree. I have bought a chrono myself not too long ago. I don't feel like getting injured because of something that could have been avoided.

if you dont know what it means then you should consult my medical file and realise that not doing even the simplest things can lead to major mishaps and medical bills.

i wish that was the case with c02, one week i was outside and was shooting under 280, the next week i was inside and shooting well over 370, i believe that the co2 expanded and gave me a higher preasure inside but i had to turn my velocity screw all the way in before it began to go down...i hate co2!

There is absolutley no good reason on earth to not chrono every time you play.
