Has anybody noticed that this is a 3 year necro.....

But the topic is still a sound idea.

The topic still remains pertinent, (massive necro notwithstanding) because as other posters have stated, nothing has been done for the female ballers. When companies release a line of gear for girls, then this topic can die for good.

Furthermore, all of the girl ballers I know want a line of clothing for girls, because they hate the current fits of clothing.

Am I really that much of an odd one out as a female paintballer not wanting my own line of clothing for girls....I guess I just must be a freak of nature.

You aren't a freak. You are entitled to your own opinion on what you want to wear. :D

My wife can't fit into much male paintball gear. She is short and petite...all pants are like a foot too long and not cut right at the crotch, hips, and butt area, and all the shirts she swims in.

It is wanted by the female players...some for fit, some for looks.

But from a company profit standpoint there simlpy is not enough of a market to take the risk and produce gear that has the potential to not sell.

Until there is a large female demigraphic in the industry, female specific soft goods will be few and far betwen.

Proverbial "nail on the head" ^

I see a decent amount of dedicated female players at the field on scenario days, but the female to male ratio is still never better than 1:30, often worse. If a company needs to make money, they are going to focus on the majority. I'll bet MO could hook the ladies up w/ custom items, but they'll likely be at custom prices.

The female players I know through x7og and here wear military issue. Though I can see the silver line and profit being an issue because ther sad fact is that their are not that many female players to force the demand. I will say however that custom made stuff is a decent alternative to mass production and risk of profit loss. Personaly however, I think we should also try to reach out to more women to try the sport at some point. Plus advertising like how you see on the store site but instread have a female player decked out in the tac gear.
