2 weeks ago I won an A5 on ebay, used.
Today I playe dmy first game with it, and what a difference.
Even though it has the E-trigger, I didn't use the auto function at all, and played one of my best ganes to date.
In fact, I'm probably going to just us ethe standard stock trigger.
I had an Apex barrel and a J&J Edge barrel kit for the spyder.
I cut down one of the J&J fronts and attached the Apex tip to it.
Man, what a huge difference in accuracy.
Flatline distance with matched bore accuracy. Even in the extreme settings.
So, I would definitely say, go with an A5.
Lots of mods and upgrades available as well.

I bought the J&J Edge barrelkit for my spyder.
I'm pretty sure you can get it threaded fro an A5. If not, get a Lapco A5-Spyder adapter, like I did.
Then, at the Undergorundmodshop.com, get the Apex adapter ring.
Get an Apex barrel. Inscrew the 4 screws and remove it.
To keep the barrel short, I cut down the longest barrel that was included with the barrel kit, which was 14", to 2 inches.
The Apex barrel attaches to the fornt using one inch.
Also, I got the UMS RIS MKII front grip set-up.
I also installed a Folding stock. Get the JCS one, it comes with a built-in RVA.
I also got a madman springset, and instaled the red one.
I have the UMS Short striker rail on order, and am adding a reddot sight, and will be bringing my ASA adapter up to the rear, attached to the top of the gun.
I took the gun to the field for the first time yesterday. And with the FVA screwed completely out, the Gun chronoed perfectly around 270-280.
I had zero problems.
This was a used gun, theat, when I receieved it, looke dlike it hadn't been proberly cleaned or used in quite some time.
Completely disassembling the gun and putting it back together is a cakewalk.
It only took me an afternoon to remove the old paintjob. Repaint it matte black, and put it back together.

I'm sure you could do the same witha 98 pro.
For me, the huge advantage of the A5 is the included cyclone feed hopper.
I personnally don't want a longer barrel. And You can get a double trigger for the A5 as well.
As far as Price. I have seen them used starting from $120.
I bought mine used on Ebay for $250,-
It came with a flatline, E-grip, Car stock, drop forward and a mag.
I sold the mag, and am selling the stock and drop foreward as well.
So, at the end of the day I will have an A5 with an E-grip and original flatline for about $180.-
