I am thinking on buying an HpA tank, but I was wondering how much it cost on average to fill up.
If its alot more than filling a C02 tank, then I'm just gonna get a regulator. But I want to know how much it is to fill.
Thanks.

$1=1000 PSI so it is usually a good rule of thumb.

Two places around me fill HPA

One is Scheel's all sports and they charge a flat $4

The other is the paintball store and it's included in the $15 green fees for the day. I have never filled at their store, they are alays out when I go.

It depends on the shop keeper. If they have already paided off the cost of the air compressor then it will be cheeper than if they havent. But sometime you can get luckey and they will fill it for free. But they almost always charge by psi.

FREE!!!

At every field I've played at locally, if you've paid the play fee, you get free air. It's not like CO2 that has to be trucked in - most places have a large air compressor.

Also: I'm a member as a local field which gives me free fills anytime, even if I'm not playing.

I pay around $3-4 for a fill any size tank, any pressure. Anything else is just a ripp off. All day air should run you $10-15. For a 24 hour scenario I pay $10-20, depending on the amount of people at the game. If it is a mega game, like Michigan Monster Game I always get free air.
