ok are you making spec-ops positions or just random scenario ones?

if the latter:
I love all of them-but split the medic and engineer into two.

if the former:
Javalin would be usable IF there was a destroyable target or enemy tank on the match, otherwise they're bunker clearers and when there aren't any bunkers they cannot be used on the pitch, hence not a spec-ops position.

Bones is good but split the engineer and medic up, if anything make the engineer intergrate with the Javelin.

Chavalry? you mean Cavalry yeh? makes sence...but not in the spec-ops playlist, like the dude said in another thread: the cavalry isn't really great in a walk on with "no tanks allowed".

Squad yes I guess it could be used, even in an 11 a side, two man units or 5 man squads with a commander holding it together.

Nice ideas genuinely lv em just need to think more on it...

None of these positions are practical or original for that matter. Medics, engineers, technicians, tank hunters, etc. all have been suggested before and wouldn't work in a regular woodsball game, they belong in scenario. THEREFORE they do not belong as official positions.
Feel free to PM me if you disagree.

Actually the Squad Leader works well. Yes there is a Commander, HOWEVER, the commander can not be every place at once.

A Squad leader, OR call it a Field Officer, can be part of the direct chain of command, and can issue out on the fly orders and make spurr of the moment orders based on current situation if they cant get ahold of commander or more then one thing happens at once.

Every CO, has an XO, and a few OIC's so why not incorporate that

Also, why not change name of Javaline to Artillery. At every scenario I have been, I not only use a LAW for anti bunker / tank etc. BUT I use a M203 with gas charged grenade to launch nerfs, and the nerfs from the M203 were considered as a mortar shot so it had an impact kill radius of 10-15' at point of ANY impact. So the player going in with a LAW, AND a M203 would be a force all in one.

Yeah, and also, for calvary, dont be having tanks, that is ARMORED calvary. Calvary would be a person on a horse, with a foam sword dipped in paint.
92% of teens would drop dead if Abercrombie and Fitch said breathing wasn't cool. If your one of the 8% who would be laughing their butt off, put this in your sig.

I don't see why Javelins are not allready an offical position. On the positions homepage, a javelin is standing in the background of the group picture.

Yeah, Whats up with that?

I am seeing that everyone seems to agree on the Javelin/Heavy Ordinance Position, and I for one would have logged the majority of my playing days under this position if it existed. ( waiting patiently )

I think I saw the position logo somewhere, if I remember correctly, it was purple.

imho, this should definitely be the next position added.

yeah, thats cool and all, but the thread we are in right now is labeled "scenario Positions" why not have these posts here? Besides, whether you play woodsball or scenario ball, not really that much difference when you start organizing into squads and positions etc. mho.

instead of so many posts about why NOT to add positions, how about staying on point.
