Ok i live in one of the countries with some of the most awesome pieces of nature and areas to play woodsball but i have only heard of one group playing scenario games actively (in the entire country). So my question is are there any people in Johannesburg South Africa that play woodsball? And where do you play and would you mind a walkon ever now and then?

Also why is woodsball so small here, I mean every second dude is a speedballer from what i can tell. Nothing wrong with speedball just we have so much nature here why not put it to good use. To be honest I may still be living under a rock and just didnt hear about them.

Lol yeah I live in Joburg more specifically Randburg. Thats the problem I am dying to play some scenarios but no one to play with. I guess most people here like colorful inflateable things to play around.

Oh yeah tippmann crazy Why do i live in South Africa, well:

1. THe weather is awesome
2. Got some of the most spectacular country viewing
3. People are generally friendly
4. Got the 3rd Best dive site in the world on our door step
5. Some of the best looking women in the world are here.
6. Mmm let me mention the weather again temperature range of 1 deg min to 32 deg max with minimum humidity
7. Have everything from Forest, to Desert, wetlands, anything you can think of.

The list goes on should visit

I'm sure there are woodsballers around you. You just have to find them. They probably don't have a commercial field to play at so they're hard to find. There's about 10,000,000 people that play paintball and 90% of them play woodsball so keep looking. I put up flyers and posters and posted my games on the SpecOps Game Locator. Now I have plenty of people to paintball with. Good luck.

Well To Bad For You... A Few Years Back... When i was about 10 or so my father had the options to be transfered to South Africa or Beirut... So we would have went with him, Hes in law enforcement... THE PAY WAS CRAZY BETTER! But he decided to stay here in North Carolina...

But I understand your problem.... My city is pretty huge. But on the outside of it its wilderness, Tropical jungle, and even sandy desert at some spots! all in one! Also, Its directly beside Fort Bragg and Pope AirForce base... Maken my area the largest military reservation in the world... So youd figure there would be plenty of Scenario, and Woodsballers... TONS OF SPEEDBALLERS tho... Im sure there are plenty of woodsballers around but i expected more military to hop on the deal...

My team, Gray EyEz 8th Recon, or G'E.Z, Is a new Woodsball Scenario team... more likely the one of the only few in my area... My team has 2 practice fields, one consist of 144 acres of land, with it... you have sand hills, pine forest and oak forest, thin and thick woods... simi tropical areas... Open fields, a creek bed, 2 creeks 18 ponds and a river, plenty of buildings all around a lot hidden... its Basicly a Island lol... the other one is 1000 Acres... i havent been able to eximne it to well 'cos its just been recently added to the turf by my friend ill check it out soon enough tho.

But heres what you should do... Find a bunch of information about woodsball, how its played, tactics... everything, and make woodsballers! kids you know, teach them the basics and they'll get into it, go to local fields talk to speedballers, ask them if theyd like to try, don't give up, morelikely reason why a lot go speedball is because they can't find woodballers, Why? cause woodballers are to busy in the woods!!! post up ads, go to every site in ur area about paintball you can, check chat rooms everything... if u have land, build a decent woodsball/scenario field, and they will come.... "if you build it, they will come"
