Hear are 2 reviews on facefull magazine and splat magazine.

facefull.
THis is a pretty thick magazine and it mainly covers tournament paintball. IT goes into the games and standing alot and has a good amount of helpful reviews. It has a good amount of interviews and is a very good read.
+
objective reviews
new stuff every magazine
good tourny coverage
yearly review mag is very nice
gear news that is pretty up to date
-
dosnt come out very frequently
only covers tourny ball.
4/5
splat magazine.
Splat magazine is a thinner magazine then faceful and focuses on both speedball and woodsball and another focus is on physical exercise to get better at paintball. THe captions are pretty funny but the reviews arent that objective.IT has a good amount of news and its coverage of woodsball is pretty nice.
+
covers woods and speed
funny captions
good pictures in woods
gear news
comes out frequently
paintball exercise wich is unique.

neutral
splat girls(its good and bad becuase if you live with your parents and they decide to spring for the magazine and if they see the splat girl main pages they mite reconsidere(happened to me)).

-
not the best coverage of everything
4/5

I agree with the SplatGirls being more of a hinder than a blessing.

I am married. Do not go for girlie magazines. I am a paintballer because of the fun and fitness. If I wanted a girlie magazine I would get one.

The only girls in a magazine like that should be paintballers. Ladies that have something to contribute or inspire others to try paintball.

As it stands "Splat" is still a sophomoric kind of mag.

Also agreed there

You'll note RECON is and will remain a family friendly publication :P

I love Recon the best. ALL woodsball and most if not all of the guns/pictures in general are more fun to look at than the Splat girls. Recon FTW. Both of the other magazines either have too many advertisements or too much tourny ball info. Pretty useless stuff to me.

He complained about the language in Recon, even. This person is necroposting all over the place complaining about magazines that show less skin than you see at the beach and have language milder than you hear in a first-grade schoolyard. As a result of this blast of spam straight from the 1960's, he's now mod previewed. His other posts have been deleted.
