All this talk of barrels my phantom has a fixed barrel and the stock is also a quck change for 12 grams. Yes I know this tells how long I have been playing but the old markers still do the job. If I can see a part of you I can hit it.
Its simple I saw the hit,
Your out!!

I need a job with more vacation time

Holy necropost batman! (I was commenting on my post for the record)

But I figured this was the place to ask.

I can't tell from the pictures whether or not the green/black acid wash is a nice ano. Do you guys like it and do you prefer it over the black? Does it blend in with the woods or stand out?

Well when I buy HeadshotPhantom's Phantom I am going to get a duracoat paintjob for it. 3 shade tigerstripe is about $180.00.

Yeah, but I'm poor so that's out of my price range. The $30 ano is much more affordable, even if the duracoat would look really cool.

All of my other markers are black, so I decided that I wanted something a bit different.

I like that a lot. It seems that he put more black than green into your marker, was that by dumb luck or is that how they all are (in black/green that is)?

Thanks,
Jim

couldnt tell ya. This is the only one of this anno ive seen in person. I think it kinda varies from anno job to anno job. It all matters in how that individual does it at the time. You could probably ask for some more green, i mean it couldnt hurt. I've seen orange black ones that are mainly orange, and orange black ones that are mainly black.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I actually want more black in it but same difference.

Two more questions, is a stock absolutely necessary, or does it depend on the person? And is it better to order from him personally or should I go through a third party like a local shop? I think I can answer my own question on the second one, just want some extra opinions.

A stock is never a must, at least I don't think. But try pumping a round in without the end of your barrel going all over because you didn't have anything to brace the gun on...

I concur with Scout. Stocks are never neccesssary. THey are just you want one. I like them on pumps cause i can shoulder it better, as there is no tank coming off the back. If i play speedball i wont use a stock, and if its close combat in woodsball i wont use a stock. But in general i like them on my pumps. I dont use them on semi's though, cause the tank works just fine.

You can go through anyone to get the Phantom. Either way its gotta go through Mike's magic hands one way or the other to get to you. Wevo paintball usually sells them cheaper than Mike does anyways. Just write them with what you want, color scheme, accressories and stuff and they will send you an invoice. Then they order it through mike, who will anno it to your liking. From there i dont know if Mike sends it direct to you, or if he sends it back to wevo to send to you. But it wont be longer than a few weeks.

Ok. Thanks guys, that's helped a lot. I am going to get a stock, I can always take it off and sell it if I don't like it.

Well, you could always try taking the screws out quick if you wanted to lose it. Not sure exactly how the stock fits on, (my shop just placed the order for mine to it should be here before Christmas, I hope) but I think that its just two screws on the bottom of the grip so it wouldn't be too complicated in removing it.

Is this a good setup for a phantom? I'm looking to pump snipe and I was wondering if the 14'' stock barrel was any good, or what sort of barrel should I get ahold of? And can anyone provide me with a picture of the acid wash black/green? I also need some recommendations on sights/rails. Thanks
