You need to look at other guns(the ones you choose are not bad) to really know what you want. I first wanted a sypder E-99 last year but then i kept looking and my friend found a good gun pack with a 98 custom. Don't rush your first gun.

yeah stop and think for a little and then buy the gun you think would be best for your purposes. Personally, i love blow backs and hate electros but thats just my opinion. Test out some guns and make your decicion. Also, The ION can be used for speedball and woods effectivly so keep that in mind if your gonna play both.

so you want a gun that will impress people with 55 dollars, trust me and my suggestion. i would definatly go with brass eagle blade or blade turbo. but if you realy want to impress people and spend a few more bucks go with the brass eagle talon ghost. there both realy great guns for impressing people.

but if want a good paintball gun save up and get an ion

Welcome to the forums,

I'd have to say... save about 200 dollars and get an mr2, electric and milsim...

Uh, you can get an Ion for 199.99 on www.zephyrpaintball.com
But you NEED HpA to operate it though...

because you don't get much money I say once you have enough get the MR1 it's a good gun and it will play well. But if you want to save up you can get the ION. It really depends on what you want. Mech or electro, runs on CO2 or HPA(which is much more expensive for a tank), either way if you learn to play well with your gun it doesn't matter what kind of gun it is, unless it's a $20 pb gun from a flea market. Also don't just look at new guns, used or refurbished ones are still nice for less cost, ebay is a great place!

look, he has 55 bucks, and limited money, do you have and idea how long it could take him to properly equip an ion, at least 300 for the hpa and hopper, more likely more.

id recomend the spyder, however, i wouldnt get the mr1 unless your into milsim

i would get the rodeo as a mech, or imagine or pilot for an electro

a bt-4 or tippman 98c are also good choice, but if i started paintball all over, i probably would have gotten a spyder, a lot more performance upgrades for them

Don't worry what other people think about your gun, I get made fun of all the time for my long, almost bulky setup. But it works, FOR ME. Thats all that matters, plus they change their minds after 10 mins in the woods with me...
