I hate sp so I am goin AGD. I have loved that thing since the first time I ever shot it. If you cram enough shims into the mag, it will out shoot a fully upped ion.

i dont kno much about the tac-one except wat ive read,

i have seen and used an ion

it really depends on wat u r lookin for

they r both very fast

but with the ion u have anti chop eyes (i think) or u can get them

but the tac-one has the lvl 10 anti-chop bolt (ive seen it in action and its amazing) www.googlevideo.com

the ion is an elctro
tac-one is mechanical

tac-one ive herd is easy to take apart, where in the ion is hard to take apart

ion is also ment for speedball so it may not b so good if ur a woodsballler

and tac-one is woodsball (vise versa)

so it depends on wat u want

i am planning on buyin the AGD longbow despite there being an ion version

besides, its not about shooting fast, its about 1 shot kills

Were not about shooting fast, were about stealth (as ghostinthewoods would put it: time and patience), so it doesnt really matter how fast you can shoot becuase we should only take one shot per kill.

Here's a little more backround...if I buy the Tac-1 it will be alone and I'll have to wait a bit and save a bit to upgrade to the Longbow...but if I buy the Ion then I'll have the Longbow kit right away.

Whoops, didn't realize this was the sniper hq...

1 last thing about the tac-one that I think makes it better is that you can stick it underwater and it will shoot. That is actually a great way to clean the marker if you don't want to take it apart.

There is no doubt that the TAC ONE is the far superior marker. Articles written by Special Ops staff proclaim that the TAC ONE is one of the greatest mechanical markers in the world.

The TAC ONE will allow for no shoot down, but the Ion will. The TAC ONE needs no batteries, but the Ion does. All you need to walk the trigger on a TAC ONE is the ULT upgrade. A TAC ONE will never chop paint due to its Level 10 bolt.

The TAC ONE valve is double regulated and super-compact. It is an engineering marvel. In fact, the TAC ONE has less moving parts then an Ion, and is WAY less complicated to breakdown and maintain over time. The TAC ONE is simple and clean.

The Ion is a nice marker, dont get me wrong. I like Ions, and think they are great for snipers. I LOVE the Black Cell line as well. I just think there is no debate whatsoever when deciding if a TAC ONE or a Ion is superior.

It basically looks a lot like a washer. I am not the best at explaining things so someone help me out here, but basically what it does is it makes the trigger more reactive. It puts a little more pressure on the trigger and causes the trigger to return to its original position much quicker than normal. It done to a rediculous point, there is a thing called runaway where the trigger fires at an almost uncontrollable rate of fire. There is a video somewhere of a guy getting his mag up to 34.5 bps. The fastest I have ever gotten mine before it runs away is 19 going over a chrono.

It all depends on what you want in performance.
Ive have now owned both and sold my Blackcell ION about 30 minutes after I bought it.
It doesnt really compare to the tac one...just feels cheaper
ION has more parts to break..but cost less...Blackcell is nice but its still no Tac One
Tac ONE cost more but never breaks and shoots amazing..Ive now owned 3 tac ones two of them where
longbows and I have a real hard time putting themup for sale when I do...I always seem to buy more Tac Ones...Emag valve or X valve with level 10 is the way to go.
My last one I turned into a pump and 1 hour afterhaving it together ...I changed it back to a semi.
and its SUPER QUIET AND ACCURATE.
If I need it RIP.. the 20 shoots in my magazine will hit what ever target I aim at like a DART.
My ION just didnt feel right or maybe I was just so use to the Tac..
If money isnt a question ..Start with the best go TAC ONE.
If you need a complete set up for less...ION.
Both will get you where you need to be...
OR
Buy a real good PUMP, match the paint to the barrel and do just as good. for WAY LESS (depending on the pump you buy)
Hope this helps you out..Just have fun.
It really isnt the marker, its the person behind it.

Quick question: After reading the AGD Q-Bow description, it seems that it comes with Five Q-Pods, the Helical feed system, the Q-Bow marker itself, and a 16" barrel. My main concern is over whether it actually comes with the five hundred round Q-Loader system or if the description writer was just saying that that amount was good to carry for the worst case scenario.

I only ask because I was under the assumption that it only came with one Pod and no barrel, which would add another 100-200 dollars to the 909 dollar price tag, whereas I could get a complete blackcell q-bow, 500 round system and 16" stiffi for around 800 dollars. But if I can get the complete AGD package for only a hundred more, than there's no question as to which one gets thrown in the cart.

Yes, it actually comes with the 5 q-pods. I believe that is a 129.99 system included in the package.
