it may not be the gun then....

have a look at your play style first. You can buy the best everything on a gun and still have faulty aim.

Just some advice,

On the note of a stock, I'm a fan of SAW stocks...

Your aim should improve with a stock on your marker it should help you roll the marker up and into your shoulder faster and keep it more stable while firing. I use stocks on all the markers I can the only time they come off is when we are playing speedball and hyperball.
I also recommend the SAW stock.

on a side note after thought.

Say "no" to CAR stocks... they are worthless and do nothing to help. You can't sight down the gun at all. I know they're the cheapest stock out there, but they really don't help aside from providing a solid platform against your shoulder.

Depends on how much time you have... Yesterday I spent 2+ hours out in the woods setting my marker's aim.

I have a 98C with FL and 6position stock. (see pic in brigade page) I have a reddot on an offset that allows for full vision targeting. With both eyes open I can hit a target 10in wide about 150ft away Laying down 80% Kneeling 70% and walking sideways 50% While I was testing I was using a 10 shot burst.

It took a bit of chronoing, adjusting the sight, and a lot of paint but I know that if I put that dot on target I can hit it.
I see you in my sights, you see me after you're dead!!!

I grew up hunting and you cant beat a stock with a flatline for a real rifle feel. That natural feel makes shooting much easier for me so I highly recommend it. Though, read what Brode says b/c you cant avoid practice no matter what your set-up is. A raised sight rail with 30mm or better RedDot was a big help too in actually sighting the marker b/c once that mask is on, its so much easier to see.

i do use a p.c.s. aluminum foldable stock but,i've tried my buddy's flatline barrell and thought this was the most inaccurate barrell ever.so basically i use a 16" empire rifled barrell and i've been satisfied with that almost a year and a half.that's just my opinion!

Hmmm, let's see. If you can't shoot practice?

In 1970 the Chevy Nova was created. This was the worst selling car in Mexico because the words "No va" mean "Doesn't go". If you would never buy a Saturn Ion because the word "Ion" means "Doesn't shoot", Put this in your profile.

the CAR stocks arent the cheapest. the cheapest buttstocks ive found are from www.nyoface.com and theyre more useful and lighter than the car stocks or any other stocks for that matter. (at 25-35 for one of their T stocks) sure the T shape isnt the best for appearances, but they function as well, if not better than most stocks. i have 1. and am thinking of buying 3 more, for my vertical air spyders, and might acquire a car stock from gunhead for my usp, as its the only car stock that would help me make the usp more of a car replica, which would recieve a spyder scepter nade launcher onto it ;) (the nade launcher would be directly in line with the car stock, keeping the lines clean and simple) i used to have a car stok on a model 98, i loved the thing. some dumper stole the whole gun with the extras on it...argh. anyways, you can sight down the gun with a car stock, you need the ar top handle and front sight to do it. (its what the car stocks are usualy used with...) otherwise, you can hold it the way operators hold em while wearin face protection such as gas masks, riot gear, etc. (half the stock on the shoulder, the other half above the shoulder)

if u wanna stock, just grab a stock the fits on the back of your c02/n2/hpa tank, works fine and its easier to get ur sights in w/o having to screw with the rail, but u might just wanna practice ur shot at home, get some reusable balls, and just sit in ur back yard and shoot

My trick for aiming paintball guns is not to use a stock, but to point instead of aiming. If you've ever shot a shotgun, you know what I mean. Don't look down the gun, FELL your way to the target. It sounds wierd but try it some time.

Maybe you need to get a better feel for the gun play with it more times. Get a feel for what kind of shots the gun can and can't make and get a feel for its range. Even just carry around your gun when your walking around the house to geta better feel for its weight and such. Practic with gun i find helps more than stocks or sights. I've tried both on my gun and ened up taking them off. I hold and play around with my gun so much when I use it feels like an extension of my arm.

yes point the shotgun, not aim....I LOVE shooting clay pidgeons!!! shot a double once, then 2 throws later the stock on my shotgun broke :) , so I went and got the single shot and continued on, but anyways back to paintball...I just look down the side of my gun "I tilt my gun a little to the side", it makes for faster target aquisition, thats just my take on aiming. I thought about getting a 6 position stock, but decided against it when I started tilting my gun instead of useing the sights.
I could use an electro for speedball, and a pump for woodsball, but I will/do use a mechanical for both.
