I bought some cheap 29 dollar Whitebox paintballs the other day, and I thought I was getting a great deal. I had used whitebox before and I had no problems whatsoever. But, now, they make the paintballs so tiny, and so hard, that it makes them not even worth the price. They are so tiny that they waste so much gas. And since I'm using a 20 inch barrel, it wastes even mkore than I already am. On top of that, the balls are so hard that most of the time they hardly break on target. Sometimes the gun even fires 2 balls at once.
Do not buy these paintballs. They suck. I'm switching to Marballizer now. I think these may be a *tiny* bit better than whitebox.

$30 is not that good of a deal. Check out all the paint on Action Village. They have lots of options for cases around $30 that dont suck.

I just bought a case of marbleizers off action village, I've never tried them before so this weekend will be my first.

you do realize whitebox is usualy "reject" paint, paint that didnt quite make the cut to go in there normal shipment but still may be sellable. second rate paint, things like if it has a dimple or too hard or not the right size goes into there reject pile that is then packed into whiteboxes or as i call mystery box. you never know what you will get, and you get what you pay for.

Umm, Marbs are the best woodsball paint on the market, but they are extremely expensive. I would reccomend Draxxus Mightnights, availible of Compulsive Paintball for 40/case. They are low-end speedball paintballs, which means that they have a thinker shell, but are still high quality.

Just saw a few posts about Marbalizer, after being a Marbalizer man, I just switched my high-end paint to Draxxus Hellfire.

Man on man, does this paint rock!!

Not a dimple in sight, virtually no seam, excellent break potential, and a nice thick bright gooey fill thats murder for all those wipers out there. Flys nice and straight and loves my 20" barrel.

The only problem is that standard retail on the stuff is $67 a case!!

I've been loving the xBall silvers, there about 42 off Actionvillage and I have never had a barrel break or chop with them. They arn't 'seemless' however, but there the best for under $55

I use Evil, $70 a case, not exactly cheap. Really, I can't recommend a good cheap paint, because there really isn't one. Paint is good if you pay the price.

With Evil I have less than a 6" grouping at 75 feet. That is much tighter than the groupings I get with other cheap types of paint.

For example:

Brass Eagle Monster Balls ($35 case)- About 2 foot grouping at 75 feet.
Nelson Hotspots ($48 case)- About 1.5 foot grouping at 75 feet.

All of these groupings were tested with a J&J Ceramic 14" barrel.

Yeah, I use either Scorch or Bigball paitballs, which cost about 25-30 dollars a case. They might seem somewhat cheap but for the money the are exellent.

ok now that i have taken that ou tof context
cheaper is not the way to go when it comes to the white box.
especially if you shoot high end markers

Ya know, I have decided to go Monster Balls for my MR2. At $30 a case from Wal Mart, slightly smaller than average caliber and a tough shell, I think they are perfect for my automatic MR2. I am firing at short ranges anyways so ranged accuracy is not as large of an issue, and ball breakage is much more consistent at close quarters range as well.
