I flipped my tank around on my Piranha.
It balances right in front of the trigger guard now.

If you dont have a stock it will be harder to aim because you have nothing to make it stable on your shoulder. I say stupid if there is no stock.

yeah, I don't have a stock, and I always use my co2 as stock. But, if you do have stock, that would be great. Great thinking there man, how did you do it?

Maybe in speedball, but not very efficient for woodsball.

Yeah I'm getting a stock. But I just twisted the hose around and mounted it backwards. But It is much easier to hold because it balances right between the foregrip and trigger guard

When you're sniping, aren't you laying down a lot? How does this workout for laying down?

Not effcient for anywhere regardless of if you need teh stabilization on the run or on the ground.

If i were you I'd get a 90║ fitting and a duckbill ASA as well as a stock.

I sort of laughed at all the people that said it was stupid to flip the tank around when I saw the poll results. It seems clear to me that most people havn't done it because if they did they would know that it balances the markers weight perfectly on your hands so the marker isn't back heavy. I flipped mine around and I love it. You will find it is way more manueverable then when the tank is the regular way. Oh well to each his own right.

Funny I should see this since I am doing the exact same thing with my next A5:) (*althought NOT for sharpshooter stuff, thats my other A5*)

Trying valiently to avoid a remote coil so I figured running a reverse tank would be a good idea to keep the length of the marker down (*no stock on this one, all two-handed SMG action with an E-Grip*), along with a barrel of about 5 or 8 inches in length.

if you were going to make a homemade stock then that would have been a good idea and i agree with Mechanical CB because if you are laying down you will hav to poke your head and upper body up a lot more to get a good shot

I'll look for my digital camera and post pics of my reverse tank setup. I'm not a sniper, but the principle of what we're doing is the same.
