So the AG is meant more for the moving sniper, the other forms are meant for stationary snipers?

i choose a four because im the kind of sniper who waits for his shot to come, exactaly the opposite for what the action ghille is made for.

i don't totally agree with this. sure, action ghillie is made lightweight, breatheable, and athletic but that doesn't mean you can't ambush in it. ambushes (at least mine) take place at about 20-40 yards on average and action ghillie works great at that range. traditional ghillie is a easier to spot. i mean, if you sit perfectly still they'll walk right by you...but after you fire, they will notice you QUICK. with action ghillie you blend perfectly.

of course this is all opinion. (also under the assumption that you play in a leafy area. if you play in a mossy area go jute and burlap.)

ACTION GHILLIE = 10 all the way

But, you can. Its a couple of straps of mesh that you tie around you gun, hopper Etc. then pin the leaf to that.
If the person on the other end of your gun does not walk away from the game eagerly anticipating the next game because of your actions, you have failed as a paintballer. Put this in your sig to help spread the word.

I gave it an 8 I love mine. As far as ambush. I have played games where I was given time to hide and everyone had to come and find me. I have had people come up and almost step on me nor realizing where I was. I did use some density upgrade to more closely match my individual field color though.

im sorry but i have to dissagree with you tippy98csniper because my traditional ghillie snagged on all the underbrush in my area. i han't played with or even seen a ag in real life so i cant say its any better, but with my experience i have been shot too many times because my ghillie got caught in the underbrush.

by the way does anyone in the south west coast of canada or anyone who lives in THICK underbrush own an action ghillie because i would like to ask a few questions about it, thanx

edit: i forgot i gave it a 9 because i do play a (faster) game than most but mainly because i play ghost flanker more than ambush

I have a home made Ghillie and honestly just buy some BDU's I'm playing in a field were your range for shooting somebody is maby 55 feet avrage. its like walking through a shrub thats how dense the forest I play at is. its simply retarted. the ghillie gets to hot to quick and though it quite litraly makes me invisable i simply cannot move

The Action Ghillie seems to do alright blending in in the pictures I have seen, but if you want to blend in, a traditional jute or burlap ghillie is going to work better for you. There is a reason that the military uses ghillie suits along those lines and not the Action Ghillie. The difference is that you can probably move much more easily with the Action Ghillie (hence the name) and in paintball, you need to move, quickly. I feel like that's the difference - for pure camoflauge, you want a traditional ghillie. However, the Action Ghillie provides decent (better than BDU's) camoflauge and higher mobility.

Edit: I didn't actually rate the AG. I've never used one. I saw a lady at the local field with it on in the staging area, but I didn't get to see her actually use it. I have no concrete opinion on the effectiveness of the Action Ghillie, just what I've seen in pictures here on the forum.
