Yeah i think carying a pistol or a stock class marker is a good idea when youre a ref. So if some DUMPER purposely shoots you, you can duke it out. Plus it just makes you the coolest damn ref around.

Or the refs should carry DTs. Then they could really duke it out.

Sorry, but what's a dt?
NVM, sorry, I should've searched it first

You guys remember that pod rocket launcher that dude came out with a while back? Refs should carry those...or better yet, they should carry the punisher, that gun wolverine made that is plain old overkill...

I GUESS IT WAS ABOUT A WEEK AGO, I WAS REFING A GAME ON SATURDAY. I HAD MY REF MASK ON AND A BRITE YELLOW SHIRT. I WAS WATCHING TWO OF MY FRIENDS DUKE IT OUT. I HEARD FIRING COMING FROM MY LEFT. AS SOON AS I TURNED TWO BALLS CAME THROUGH THE BUSHES AND GOT MY RIGHT IN MY BABY MAKERS , IT IS THE WORST FEELING IN THE WORLD, SO TAKE IT FROM ME, WEAR A CUP.

A DT is a Double Trouble. It's basically two A-5's stuck together and synchronized to one crank.

And please, don't type in all caps. We don't like it, the mods don't like it, the admins don't like it, Puzuma's hungry and it makes you look bad. Please. Don't do it. For your own good... Before Puzuma comes... He's... Hun..gry........

too late...puzzy's sleepin and I got teeth too...

DONT TYPE IN ALL CAPS!!! ITS THE SAME AS YELLING AND IT TICKS US OFF!

Notice the yelling and bold red print? That is a ticked off moderator. Other members warning you is reason enough to chill out...but since you laughed if off and it took a moderator to say something...well you get mod slapped!!.

Thanks and have a nice day.

Wheither I go on the field to ref or to capture a flag, I always wear a cup. Sure, the chances of getting hit in the nether regions are small. But I don't think it's worth the risk. To me, wearing a cup is just as important as wearing goggles. Because: A-- I plan on having kids. And B-- Pain me no likey. ;)

...ahem, speak for yourself dude. I think that depends on the guy. :P

Cups, in my opinion are absolutely essential. Not wearing one while you play paintball is like playing chicken on the freeway. Eventually you're going to get hit there. It's just a matter of time.

Wearing a soft cup isn't too uncomfortable. The only downside is sometimes it pools sweat. Gets pretty funky by the end of the day if you know what I mean :)

i just take 2 hand towels fold them and put them hanging out of my pants. and i personaly think if you use a shield during woodsball you do diserve to get shot. now for all those who have ben to castle conquest would understand why they use them. speedball..... dont be a sissy get out there and get right in the action.
