ups in order from most importent(top) to least(bottom) :
-Barrel (CP, j&j, lapco, just to name a few) if your lookin to spen a lil more, for for a j&j starter kit... 3 backs is plenty
-HPA (crossfire, nitro duck, air america, all good ones)
thats really all you need... but check into a shocktech supafly bolt...it keeps the wear on your gun to a minimal!!!
after that i could see getting a lighter hammer from darkhorizon.com
after those 3-4 things^^^ you will have one exceptional gun.
*EDIT*: i forgot........................... GO PLAY PAINTBALL!

And you want a low profile. Since your going to be playing sniper, you want a gun that can't be seen that well. You don't want a shiny speedball marker. I would get something to put over it, ghillie material or something like that.
Then someone might ask, "What do you fight for?", It's the man thats beside me, in peace and in war.

Just yesterday I was playing and a guy I play with was against 3 players. He played ambush tactics and got all three of them....in the head to boot. He also commented that he had never broken a ball in his maker. It was stock too....
So the point is that you can play sniper just fine with a Sypder. I would start with a barrel kit. You really don't need a lot of upgrades to be successful though. Just go out and play, almost anything will do for you if you have skills.
