Recently I went to a local paintball store, and figured I might as well see about getting some more pods. I looked through the various pods available, with most seeming cheaply made. You know how pods are; your typical pod will snap if you fall or step on it, or even just drop it wrong. Then I spotted the CP pods.

Now, these pods are unlike anything I've ever seen as far as quality goes. They're a semitransparent white plastic that's about 2 mm thick. Compare that to your average pod, which isn't even 1 mm thick. When you hold these things in your hand and squeeze them, you can feel how solid they are. Even with the lid open, they will not distort or bend very much. The lid is very high quality, as well. If you close it properly, it won't come open on you, and it is spring-loaded for ease of use.

I weigh nearly 200 pounds, and I have every confidence that I could step on one of these things with both feet or fall on it and not break it. That says a lot. These pods don't look like much, being very plain colors, but they are the finest I've ever seen. I've already put them through a 24 hour scenario, and I've found no problems with them whatsoever. If you have problems with junk pods, see about ordering some of these. You won't be sorry, and they may be the last pods you'll ever need to get.

Are you sure about those measurements? Because I've never seen a pod less than a millimeter thick.

reading this review made me rmemebr that the pods that came with my pack are also cp pods.

The in proceeded to try them out and i agree that these pods rock.
they handled my 140 pound fat DUMPER diving and falling and standing on them jsut to try to break one. I coulnt even when i hit them against a desk.

these pods = 10/10

Just too add cousins sells really good pods. Threre made my Toxic and are really thick. It seems you you step on them they wont brake. I just wanted to add that to this rivew. Any Questions feal freee to PM me.

thanks, ive just got some crappy viewloader pods that i traded for some glazers. theyre durable,(flexible) but they dont have hinged lids. ill look into these. im all about bang for my buck. (im cheap, ok)lol

I will look into these, but I am getting locklids I think, they are awesome too. The SO pods arent bad either.

I tried to snap an S/O pod by squeezing it as hard as I could with both of my hands and I couldn't even bend it much!!!

I used to think my SO pods (and others made exactly the same with different brands) were pretty awesome and all I needed... until someone left a Locklid at the field the other day and nobody claimed it all day, so I took it. The Locklid holds 32... I repeat.. 32 more paintballs than the SO pods.

Try it yourself. They're about half an inch longer than the SO pods, and noticeably thicker. I'm thinking it might be worth the $4 per pod to get 3 more of these. If you use 4 Locklids, that's equivalent to using 5 SO pods.
