I used a hack saw to cut off the front grip. Then an orbital sander to get it down and good as I could. The hard part will be getting in between the tabs that hold the feeder.

ROFL! Hacksaw? Better be a DAMN GOOD saw or else you'd be better off to use a dull rusty spoon.

Either a tac light, a tac laser, a bipod, or a grenade launcher! :) ;) :D

Why would you hack off the front grip? You could mount a Q-loader on it.

Because I mounted my Q loader under my grip where the ASA was, and because it's a cool mod... Plus not everyone wants to mount a Q there... <_<

... ehhhh I had to "ghetto rig" it, i couldnt get my hands on a tap and dye set, so I used JB Weld to attach it to 1/2 of the body... blink.gif But hey it works! biggrin.gif

I was actually thinking, that would probably make life easier than tapping holes. You'd have less unscrewing to do when you break the gun down.

Yeah it seemed to work, the rail moved a bit at the last second and it hardened a little crooked. But it isnt real bad.

I have seen the work and it was good...

I did the same to my M98... But I took a milling machine to it. I didn't leave such a wide area on the bottom. Then I made myself a Magwell and got a airsoft M4 Mag and Vola!

Nice job, get yourself a folding vertical grip TDI. That would look sexy.

I would give this a ten out of five, because my home made projects are making a silencer with popsicle sticks and a toiletpaper tube.(true story)

That looks so sexy. If I was making a 98c AK or M4 I was thinking about adding a magwell.
