I *may* be mistaken, but I do not believe that any current SpecOps product includes [by default] a HammerHead barrel.

For the record, the Battlestixx Recon and Pro series are the exact same barrel with a different look on the outside.... heck I should know, im sponsored by them.

Okay Lets just keep it simple the hammerhead is the best barrel system that I have ever used. It is great amazinly acurate. Although a little pricey. If you want the best(in my opionion) buy the hammer head barrel system

Good review, however very circumstantial. Not many details on grouping size or sound such as size at distance or decibles. Could be considered hearsay bacause no solid facts are given that arent opinions. But had i not already had a hammerhead i might have questioned your review A+.

I have a black battlestikxx pro series with 3 fins, grease and ballsizer, that i got at a discount ($125) after i tested one at Oklahoma D-Day. Shooting corner to corner on a regulation sized airball field it had less than a 2 foot spread, consistantly shooting 80% within 1 foot. Same consistancy when i aimed for a gallon water jug(aproxamately the size of a paintball masked head) at the same distance. I was sold after that. I use it on my A-5 so dont wory about breaking paint but it has yet to fail me.

personally i use the .683 fin most of the time for that reason. rarely do i Find a pant that requires larger.

Last weekend i used my hammerhead at DFW adventure park. First shot was pink spray. I know A-5's aren't suposto break balls but it did. I really wasent expecting to test the self cleaning feature so soon but i shot a couple times and it kept working. I played the rest of the day without squeegeeing with no problems. When I cleaned my gun at home I looked down the barrel and saw some left over paint in the barrel but it was only in the grooves. As a testiment to the Hammerhead's self-cleaning, the ridges were completely mirror clean.

ebay. only places I found online that sell the hammerhead barrels are:

hammerhead themselves
SpecOps
ebay

I bought a full pro-series kit off of ebay for $100. the guy shipped it on Friday (I think via USPS Priority), so hopefully it should be here tomorrow if they were shipping it on saturday, and tuesday if they didn't (I've ALWAYS recieved packages shipped via USPS 2 days after they were shipped, no matter where in the U.S. it was shipped from).

the barrels you were thinking of on the Specops guns are the CMI thunderpig Tru-Flights. They are a straight rifled barrel.
