So Krazy8 did so much fine work I thought I'd pin it here for everyone.

I will make it as easy as possible to understand...

QUOTE
Prohibited Paintball Marker List
SPPL Disallowed Marking Devices
~/~
I. Any electro pneumatic marker that is used in conjunction with ANY force feed loader or with an advertised feed rate above 15 balls per second. Important note: Purely mechanical markers may use any loader they choose.

So electro pnuematic guns
(E framed Autocockers, EGOs, SP Impulse, Shocker, ION, SP8, Nerve, Angels, Aliens, Intimidators, Nemisis, Xonic, Wrath, ICD Bushmaster, 2k, BKO, Freestyle, Promaster, Dye Matrix, DM4, DM5, DM6, DMC, Proto, Evil Omen, Pimp, Odyssey RPM, FEP Quest, and possibly the Spyder EM1)
may use the following hoppers.

Viewloader (9v, 12v, XBoard, 3000, MAXX, and Tripod styles of Revolution, Quantum), Extreme Rage Overdrive, Reloader (A, 2), HALO TSA (Frontman, Backman), Ricochet (AK, 2K, 2KX, Rhino), ZAP Mach404, and any true gravity style hopper.

And may not use HALO (A, Reloader B, Viewloader (Vlocity, eVLution), Ricochet Apache, Q-loader, and Warp Feeds

Now there are sure to be some model or brand that I missed, so look at the feed rate of the hopper and you can always use the lesser model on your gun if there is any question!

True Mechanical guns can use any hopper they wish.
Electronically assisted Blow Back markers may also use any hopper they wish, but theyare still limited to the 15 bps cap.

Add Ricochet Sniper to the "approved" list for electros...

Redundant, but an e-mag with a q-loader, but a board that can only shoot a max of 9bps (old board haha) is fine then? Even then I can put it in manual mode and take out the battery and use it that way.

The great Emag question has yet to be clarified.

Now the mech only operation of an Emag with a Qloader would need to be cleared by SPPL and field staff before you used it in a game.
Why risk a illegal device penalty for not making sure you could use the gun!?

So why would you go out and try to break the rules? If caught you would end up with a penalty...and at the finals last year the difference in points from the first and second place teams was a simple penalty away from changing the outcome.

Yes the A5 can break 15....don't so it and you will be fine!

Forgive me if this has been addressed directly before, but due to the spring forcing paintballs in the breech, would the Blackcell magazine be considered a "force-fed" hopper for the ION?

Legit question.

We will not have a problem with people using the clip on the blackcell ion.

Addition to the list....the Blackcell Ion with spring fed clip will be allowed in the SPPL during the '06 season.

Halo b was in there just got edited out due to the smiley features of the board! I fixed that on the original post.

And I knew I would miss some loaders!
Empire B2 will be added to the original post.

2 BPS isn't going to make much of a difference. heck i'd even be happy if they made us electro users use grav feed hoppers.

Exactly. =) That's why I'm trying to get clarification any which way. :)
I just like my setup with the q-loaders and the q-stock with my z-body. :(
Even a brand new E-mag board will only shoot electronicly at 14 bps unless tampered with.

"Tampered with" is just the sort of problem these rules are hoping to cure...
